I made this for breakfast after watching your video. Thank you for making it so simple to follow along. I filled mine with bacon, cheese, green onions. It was SO good, I ate the whole thing.
flat top king for cook of 2022. 5:36 is an artwork, cooking was long over in the first 3 mins together with preppin. my favorite outdoors cookin channel, hands down. 6:45 was a good one. I like how the wife can both film perfectly and take a bite of what's cookin.
Its a recipe thats worth it for sure! I just uploaded my version to my channel yesterday and I would love some honest feedback if you have a chance to take a look! Thanks and happy holidays!
Neil, that looked amazing!! I did my very first hash brown omelet just the other week and LOVED it. And you are a miracle worker, you were told that you are the boss by the wife!, that almost never happens...lol. GREAT JOB on this one!!!
Hey bud....honestly I was nervous after seeing yours....I wanted to really give it a go and try something crazy because yours looked so good that I decided to keep it simple and dang it I over did it and didn't realize it until almost done. This is the result of a happening accident for sure...
Wow, looks absolutely awesome! We are going camping this weekend at the lake of the Ozarks and I will definitely be making that one morning. Y’all have a great weekend!
Doc Griddle, this is brilliant, love it, love it. This is a definite huntin camp menu item. It is so good, I'm trying it this weekend just make sure my taste buds can stand it. We add Italian seasoning, spiced salt, Basel and smoked paprika to the taters on the griddle. Great idea, research on!!
I can see making this for an entire family crew up on the ranch. A couple of feet long and a whole selection of sauces and toppings to make the meal. Thanks!
We sold it Doug....In about 4 different videos we talked to the viewers about what should we do...gave out polls etc and wanted to be clear on our actions..its documented in 4 videos...we had to make space on the deck...not enough room. We personally had to make a pro and con list..the blackstone is easier to move around and the pit boss has a hood
Hi I'm a newby to your vids and grilling, thankyou for the great lessons, I got the Weber per your review, love it. Just today received you 3 seasonings. Keep the lessons coming. Larry
Looked awesome! I was expecting you to flip the hash brown before you poured the eggs on though. My hash brown skills have gotten a lot better thanks to your videos. Thanks
Just subscribed. Have really enjoyed watching your videos over the past week or so. Thanks for sharing your griddle tips with us! Love that you and your wife do this together. The interactions are entertaining. Your personality really shines through!
I'll tell you what! That looked absolutely delicious. I have got to try this next weekend for sure. If your spatula was just a touch longer you would've nailed the pick up. Great video guys. 👍 👍
You know the site is growing when we get to watch a Marvel Studio's preview of a new Disney Movie. Simply an awesome presentation of the finished product. With that being said I would leave the jalapeno's out as I do not like them. Of course I have never tried them but "But when you kneaux you know" Besides my expert hearing heard your wife say "There is a big jalapeno" and my sharp eyesight saw that same jalapeno sitting on top that awesome looking hashbrown omelette. It reminded me of that lone meatball that rolled off the table onto the floor. (I think there was a song about it). Now I will add that was a very nice recovery on removing the hashbrown omelette from the grill to the plate. With that being said put on your Santa Stocking Stuffer List one of those long spatulas. I think it would be a very useful utensil in some of your future videos. Great Job!
as always...thanks bud...hope all is well. Have you cooked on yours yet...from what I have seen your son has got some series competition...father son competition. The biggest question I have is how much cajun can me produced on the griddle...
That’s definitely the granddaddy of breakfast omelettes! That looks so freaking good! I’ll have a side order of pancakes too please! 😂😂😂. Cheers brother! (Tell Amy to bundle up…cold weather is heading your way.)
ahahahah we just said something today about getting her a jacket with batteries to keep her warm....I think I am going to film some on the inside this year ...what say you
I've got a big pot of homemade chicken soup going right now. It's only in the mid 40s and raining here. I should messenger my phone number to you. We could have a great chat. 👍
oh, I'll be making this! It's definitely a breakfast for a cold morning. I think I'd make some milk gravy as a side! My arteries are clogging just at the thought of it! 👍
Just watched this...and we can't wait to make it. I have a question. What's the toolbox looking thing next to the flat top? I want to get one for my husband. Thanks.
That looks awesome. But I got some bologna on the treager bout to make the family some fried bologna sandwiches. Been dreaming bout that since I saw your video.
Looking for some new ideas for the guys at the deer hunting camp in North Mississippi, this recipe will be a hit. Thanks Neal. Going to be served with Bloody Mary’s of course.
New to Blackstone griddles here. I have 2 questions. How long did you leave the hash browns on the griddle before you added the other ingredients and how long did you leave them on after adding the ingredients before you folded the omelet? When I was in the Navy it was good to know somebody on the mess decks for when you were standing mid watch.
Hey first thanks for your service...honestly this video was a while ago...i could not tell ya... Here are some tips...only add ingredients once the hashbrowns are ready.....to soon and the eggs will cook to long...and once you roll up....the potatoes will not be ready...
Neil, after a LONG few weeks of work on a project at work that won't be finished until Feb, This hit the spot to put a smile in my face! Love it and Congrats to your Volunteers banishing the Evil Empire!
Yeah let know how you like it..as far as the Camp Chef...in a few past videos I had documented my thoughts and actions on what griddle to keep and get rid of...just came down to personal preference...Plus i needed room to try out another one in the future
I love your videos! I've learned a great deal watching your channel! Question, I have a four burner Camp Chef and I know you have the same unit, but you don't use it very often if at all. Is there a reason? I ask because if there is a hidden issue, I want to be prepared. Thanks and keep up the great video content.
Ooohh NO...we have documented in several videos that we sold it and why....just a personal pro and con, not enough space. and harder to move...i sent out polls and everything to ask what people thought..
Thats all the parts of a great breakfast burrito but without the tortilla. I'll try that straight the first time but I may try it after wrapping it in a tortillas the second time. Maybe swapping the breakfast sausage with chorizo on the burrito version.
After watching your videos for the past few months, we finally took the leap toward cooking on a flat-top. We picked Pit Boss's 4-Burner Ultimate Lift-off griddle. Yesterday, for Sunday Brunch we tried our hand at making a hashbrown omelette. Totally, worth the effort and calories!!! Next time we will follow your suit by adding the sausage and jalepenos. My question...what criteria led you to use your Blackstone vs your Pit-Boss this time around? I'm using a silicone spatula, so my omelette folds didn't turn out so well. I can see the benefit of using a long metal spatula, that is more sturdy. Maybe with more practice, i'll eventually get it.
lets break this up in sections 1. thats awesome and welcome to the griddle family 2. Honestly it comes down to being lazy...simple as that...i get tied of moving griddles around to cook and now I move and cook several then move again... 3. The utensils thing Definitely has and disadvantage and advantage...you are right certain tools make the job easier...my wood scraper is an absolutely must have.. 4.The biggest thing about metal is not having square edges you need rounded to eliminate the scratching idea, and lastly being aware of your metal..no digging or unnecessary scraping...just glide and only use when you need to.. the pit boss is stronger than what people might think...
The word omelette is not a stretch you made that sucker perfect and wrapped it in hashbrowns I was enjoying every bite you and your wife took so next time invite me over there OK? Your friend KATHY❤🎉
I cook omelettes alot, please explain why you prefer the hash browns 1/2 cooked? You can see the raw side bring covered in stuff, but it's still not cooked. 😮
