    You have a knack and I am drawing inspiration from your techniques for all the Quilts of Valor I longarm. I was air practicing while watching a soccer game Sunday, and my husband asked me if I were learning Signing (for deaf) and I replied, “You could say that.” This is a language of its own and you are so creative!

    Thanks for the video, I've learned a lot just by watching. I'm envious. I find it very hard to quilt large scale and keep the scale and spacing even throughout the entire quilt. This will be my "go to" video as a reminder of how its done

    Another fantastic tutorial! Such a joy to watch that I find myself smiling just watching you free style quilt. You do what a lot of other quilters don't - cram too much in small spaces so that the design is lost and cluttered. I'd rather have a soft looking, soft feeling, fluffy quilt than one that's been mashed down with too much quilt stitching. Thank you again for your time and for sharing your talent with us. BTW: What type of music are you listening to while you quilt??? would really love to know!

    Thanks for sharing today. Lots of nightmares lately so this was very relaxing and so lovely to experience. Been doing practice panels with large patch charity quilts on back for needy kids or nursing homes. It is fun to have dual purpose. Put another back on it over practice panels so cuddly.

    • @pamelavalley4765
      @pamelavalley4765 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      My quilting friends have talked me into just leaving practice panels as back as they all like that the best. Patch side is flannels for boys but they like designs. I used feather borders and feather heart wreath , leaves and flowers all freehand and they liked that one too.

    I also am entranced by the music & how fluid your quilting is.learning what to quilt on a large scale is so helpful.But I also have issues with large stars . I have 9 -25”blocks I have looked at it for 4 days now in the quilter.This will be auctioned off for a fundraiser for colon cancer fighter. Iwould love your advice as what to do with this quilt.
    Any ideas will be welcomed.
    Thank you again for sharing.

    I was just wondering this beautiful quilt if you quilted if you were using computerized program or you were actually moving that by hand beautiful job and I was also waiting for it to pick up and catch the material look like it wasn’t totally pressed in places had me on the edge of the seat thanks for your videos they’re wonderful

    I love your quilting. I like hearing your machine in some of your other videos because it helps me to understand the speed a bit better. Also do you have a video that shows how "tight" you have your quilt sandwich. A beginner gammill quilter and this is an issue for me. Thank you for your wonderful videos.

  • @kupton52
    @kupton52 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Beautiful, as usual. You quilt at such a relaxed speed....I may need to slow down a bit and enjoy the process more. I've noticed how nice and flat your quilt tops are loaded. I'll have to check to see if there is a video of you loading one, if not, would you consider making one. Thank you for sharing---your are very inspiring. Did you have a "plan" when you started this or was it all just spontaneously quilted?

      @adriagoodlongarmquiltingco1719  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll keep that in mind for a future video :) My plan was big flowers leaves and curls. Just spread them out and have fun :)

    First of all - I love your work and have been a fan ever since I found your videos. Would you mind sharing some of your recommended supplies? Some of your videos look like you might be using GLIDE thread. Some look like OMNI.(both 40 weight). Or do you sometimes use 50 weight like SO FINE? Favorite colors? Do you use the same in the bobbin? Or a finer bobbin thread? What is your preferred choice for batting? Just curious. Thanks for sharing your beautiful and informative (especially the Feather Fill Tutorial) videos!

  • @deniselawrence7491

    I saw the note that you used white thread,. It blends so well with all the colors I wonder what brand and weight was it? 50 #? I just love your video its so soothing to watch and your quilting is beautiful. I love the design mix and the size it fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you for these videos! I am a new quilter-working on my domestic machine-but I am learning so much from watching you! This one is a particular favorite! I love your large loose flowers! I am hoping to someday have a longarm machine. What type are you using and have you any suggestions on where to start my search?

    How do you determine what colour thread to use? and what speed are you working with? I struggle getting nice shaped leaves, I love the way you do yours I must give it a go. Love the whole pattern you are doing.

      Since this quilt had so many colors I just went with white. I'm in non regulated mode. On my machine it's called constant mode, I had it set at 43. Thx
