You are right. There is a huge difference between covering a song and making it your own. There is a scene in the movie Ray where he is "covering" songs and the producer stops him and says this is great if I want to hear the original artist, but I want to hear what Ray Charles sounds like. Here we have what Trigger Finger sounds like. They made this song theirs.

First time i listened to this was in a bad time and situation, when i has driving after losing my job on top of other misfortunes. This performance stayed in a place on my mind and i feel the need of paying a visit every once in awhile, playing when i feel depressed, something rings in my mind and pulls me back to my feet. I don't know for other countries of the world, but I'm from Slovenija, and I've never heard the original version on any of our radio stations...but the Triggerfinger version was rolling all the time

@@cr1201 Im sorry but this one sounds extremely generic. The original sounds so much haunting and with kind of tribal touches (idk how to explain. Lykke also did other version for Blue is the warmest color film, that sounds more "pop"
