When I twisted the plastic crosses on mine they just flicked back into place though. That's why I looked for a video to make sure what I was doing was correct. Luckily I have 2 clusters and this was a spare because they ended up snapping after I went back and tried again. The plastic doesn't twist properly, it's actually fixed to the front of the cluster. What a stupid design by BMW.
You need to desolder the LEDs to change the color from the orange , will need to remove needles to do that. We sell custom dials and do white LED upgrades in London. Can fit AK Speedo pixel parts that you have purchased , same day service in Enfield London .
