FISHING FENTON LAKE in NEW MEXICO

It has been a while since I fished Fenton Lake because it is usually packed with people but this day was perfect. There wasn't very many people at the Lake and it seemed like everyone that was there were catching. I was using a yellow and red Panther Martin with a hammered spinner and lately that has been my go to lure. Heck yeah bro! I was probably there that day too. I try to go during the weekdays, so there is not so much pressure. I hope to meet up with you guys someday; I got some bait that I wanted you to try out. I was on the way back from San Gregorio reservoir. The game and fish later told me that San Gregorio freezes out, so most of the fish die out over the winter. I didn't get a single bite. They've been trying to restock it, but there have been some conflicts with getting the fish out there. It's a nice location for sure. Checked out the Rio De Las Vacas while on the way south to Fenton.

This spot is on the south east side of the lake. First turn off to the lake when you get there 👍

Thank you brotha I appreciate it! The Panther Martin sizes I use are size 2 and 4 mainly just depending on where I am fishing. I like the size 2 for small rivers and streams and size 4 for bigger rivers and lakes 👍
