Tour of Casco Viejo - The most colorful, beautiful and historic part of Panama City.
In this Vlog I capture one of my many adventures as I travel across the globe. Having passed through Panama on my Ship several times in the past, this was the first time I was exploring on foot.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation my activities were kept to a minimum (safety first), but even then it was an experience of a lifetime!
Casco Viejo (Spanish for Old Quarter), also known as Casco Antiguo or San Felipe, is the historic district of Panama City. Completed and settled in 1673, it was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city, Panamá Viejo in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997.
