After more than 4 agonising years of not knowing what it is that I’m suffering from I can now at last move on and express my problems PRECISELY, because what you have described Dr. Phillipson, is EXACTLY what I have been experiencing, especially since last year as my disorder was getting worse. I have Metaphysical along with many other subtypes of OCD, and it's so hard to find treatment. The "professionals" I went to didn't take me seriously and the one that did didn't know how to help me. It's extremely frustrating.
Story of my life thanks to my shitty so called family it's really bad after I had alot more control being away from them ..well I got kicked out of a relatives home and went back into the fire and over 3 years it got terrible for me and now I'm all fucked up on that because they knew I had this OCD and they used it to fuck with me ..step father especially would tell our coworkers about all these private things and for that our boss treated me differently but not in a sympathetic way more so in condescending bully way and it's all really because my step dad hated that I was living with them again
@@Anonymous-bv2dd That sounds terrible. I'm sorry you're going through that. I would try and get a new job and move away as far as I could. Right now I'm saving up to convert a van so I always have a safe place to go, a roof over my head, and reliable transportation. And no matter what happens I'll never have to be stuck in a toxic living situation again. Maybe look into it?
@@TheChickenRiceBowl yeah metaphysical in tandem with touch ocd where my rituals need to get it just right to make sure I dont lose my desirable traits and adopt their toxic traits ...its a nightmare
Feel like I'll go mad at some point in my life 😭😭, what's worse is my family doesn't understand and they keep on doing things that they know I can't tolerate, like sneaking in my room and contaminating everything 🥲. I use gloves and plastics to touch or clean "contaminated" objects, the clothes I go with outside don't make it in my room until they're clean again because I hop in the shower the moment I'm back from school. I really need help 😫.
