Great. Made sense to me, on how to use Google Sites. Thank you 😊

This is awesome since it allows you to save a lot of money on hosting and domain annual costs. Of course, the only disadvantage is that the domain name isn't easily memorable

Thanks for your comment! You can actually link a custom domain to your Google Site to make it more memorable while still saving on hosting costs.

Thank you, this is an enormously helpful video. I have a question if you don't mind answering. I've tried to insert a png file of a movie poster as the title header for a page devoted to that film. Unfortunately, the image became very faded when I uploaded it, as if it were behind a slightly smoky pane of glass. (The whites are gray and the colors are faded.) I thought it might be because it's in the background of the text box but the image remained faded when I trashed the text box. When I watched this video I noticed how all the images you inserted seemed to maintain their resolution and crispness, so I'm wondering what might be going on with my insert.
Any thoughts on the matter will be greatly appreciated but certainly not expected!

Thank you for your kind words! The issue with the faded image could be due to an automatic opacity setting applied to background images; try setting the image as a regular image or adjusting the transparency settings in Google Sites to keep the colors vivid.

@@ttvRussell thanks so much for getting back to me! I wound up inserting the same image as an overlay and this one retained its colors and resolution. The weird thing is that I can't find any opacity/transparency or color options in the Settings or anywhere else. i'm sure it's somewhere but don't know where...

I have created an 8-page outline of my website in PowerPoint. Can I insert these pages into a Google Site?

You can't directly insert PowerPoint slides into Google Sites, but you can embed them using Google Drive. First, upload your PowerPoint to Google Drive, then use the embed option to display it on your Google Site.
