BIG BRO TIP : if the number your adding in the middle of the number is a 2 digit number like e.g 23x23 and we get 6 + 6 (12) just add the 1 in 12 to the first digit (in this case 4) replace that 4 into a 5 and theres your answer 529. Hope this helps ;)
@@ThangPiang-r9v its not rlly that hard, also Michelle is on another level, we got speed sure but not as fast as her solving multiple problems and 3 digits
Actually is explained in school if you pay attention (a+b)*(c+d) = a*c + a*d + b*c + b*d In this example: 23 * 21 = (20+3)(20+1)= 20*20+20*1+3*20+3*1= 400 + 20+60 + 3 = 483
For those who didn't get for any other no Ex:- 23×32 it does 2*3=6(first digit) Last digit is 2*3=6 In the middle 2*2=4 3*3=9 So 4+9=13 Then the middle digit is 3 Now the 1(in 13) you add with the first digit 6 So the final answer is "736" 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
@@pranavlegend3527 Last digit is 1*4=4 For First digit 8*2=16 So the first digit is 1 Keep the 6 For last but second digit 4*8=32 2*1=2 So the last but one digit is 2+2=4 Keep 3 aside Now for the last but second digit add 6+3=9 So the final answer is 1944
I tried this multiplication trick on different numbers like 43*23 where it gaves 43*21 4+6 = 8 10 3 And then i tried two numbers near 21*23 that you did in this video that is 20*23 6+0 = 4 6 0 This is applicable only on some special numbers
Note: Write the answer from digit right to left while following the steps. 3 6 * 2 9 ____________ ____1044___ Step 1: 9*6=54 so the right digit of the acquired multiplication i.e, 4 stays at the one's place nd the left digit, 5 goes to carry Step 2: Now cross multiplication for the middle digit(s) of the ans i.e, (9*3)+(6*2)27+12=39. Adding carry '5' from the previous step, 39+5=44. Right digit, '4' stays at ten's place nd another '4' from the left side goes to carry into the next digit. Step 3: 3*2=6. Adding carry '4' into it, 6+4=10. Step 4: 1044 Ans. P.S: Write it down into your copy to understand better
Of course it works. This is just doing normal multiplication horizontally instead of vertically. It's the same number of calculations (4 one-digit multiplications, 1 one-digit addition, with possible carry). This is NOT a shortcut, it just takes less space when writing it down. This method becomes much more complex when working with lager numbers (e.g. 478 x 639). Try it.
If u find the example hard. Just arrange it vertically Ex: 29 X 21 First multiply 9x1 which is equal to 9 Ex: 9 X 1 Next multiply 2x1 which is equal to 2 Ex: 2 X 1 And then multiply 2 X 9 which is equal to 18. Ex: 2 X 9 Now that your answer is 18 carry 1 to the 2nd digit Ex: ¹ 29 X 21 Now Imma take a rest.
you could also use the rounding trick change the ? to 23*20 that easy to do in your head its 460 then because we went down by one on one side we add one of the other side so 460+23=483
@@Lookingafteryou 42x41: the first multiplications get you 16__2. then after adding the next multiplications, you have 12 to distribute. the 1 in the 12 adds to the 16, and the 2 in 12 fills the blank. answer is 1722.
If I apply this trick for the question 42 x 56 We get 20 12 10+ 24=34 And the final ans= 203412🤨 Didn't work for all 2digit numbers 👀😶 only works if 2digit numbers gives a single digit result 😅😅
Unfortunately this method does not work for multipying all double digit numbers. Example. Using this method to multiply 26x26 would be 42,436 instead of the correct answer 676.
