Alpha only follows those that can beat her in a fight. Being a dog therianthrope, she follows a pack hierarchy. When she met shadow, her instincts told her she could not beat him and she rolled over showing her belly as a sign of submission, though earlier she had tried to bite alpha. Delta is physically stronger than alpha, but alpha is a more intelligent fighter combined with enough strength to utilize that intellect to win against delta. Also, Delta will sometimes sit on Gamma to assert her dominance (she views Gamma as being the lowest in hierarchy since she has no athletic ability). In the game, she also questions how human leaders get their positions of leadership because they are clearly not the strongest.
Also, before becoming a victim of "the possession", she was the best hunter in her tribe, and actually survived a long time in the wild while suffering the disease's effects after she was banished for having the disease.

Delta only beats her in pure strength, that's it. Alpha is superior in terms of intelligence, magic control, and overall battle prowess (among other things).

the atomic voice is really cringy but it still gives me shivers. i think its a frequency thing. cuz i get it every time instead of the first time and never again. usually its an excitement thing but i dont get to that level with this show. yea its cool funny and enjoying to watch but it doesnt give me the same level of excitement that for example rimuru wiping out the entire army at the end of the episode or the iron maiden did when it first showed up in shield hero. they built up a ton of hype and made the scene badass and i usually get a slight shiver from adrenaline. but here i think its just the frequency that they make his voice at.
