I really don't understand why people get upset about painting furniture when it can be easily removed for refinishing. It's not destroying the piece and it's saving something from the landfill. People who toss out old hardware....a completely different story but paint? Come on now. Why not make something beautiful instead of throwing it away? Again, it can easily be removed for those who prefer the original wood finish 🤷♀️
@@staciemarie5859 speaking for myself, I don’t have a problem with people painting furniture, especially if it’s damaged or an undesirable style. This business model only works if you can make it as an influencer. Flipping furniture exclusively will not really pay the bills at least not sufficiently. You would need to scale somehow with other people that are employees.
Just started 2 new projects! I’m so excited and nervous to start. I don’t really know what I’m doing but it’s a hobby I’ve been interested in for a long time. 😊
I did the same thing... flip furniture for a profit. Except there was no profit. I had to lower the cost of the furniture for people to buy it and unfortunately lost money in the process. People in my area don't buy stuff like this. It's sad as I enjoyed doing it but in the end I had to shut down a business for costing me money.
This is what I’m worried about in my market. Guess I don’t know until I try, but people in my area freak out if something is over $5 at a yard sale. No idea who’s gonna buy furniture for $300+

@@thefurnituredoctor That's something you have to be transparent about. Some people will look at how much profit you make in a short timeframe and think that's universal.
