That right ! Why neuro fear of water & act up when she in the sea before She fear of water ! Becuase she aware her body (PC of vedal )can dying if she trap in water
I know I'm in the extreme minority but I actually really hated SOMA because I think the writing in it leaves...a lot...out that when you think about the plot and particularly it's 'main' twist even a little bit should probably have *drastically* altered the story but it just moves on and ignores what happens each time completely. The gameplay overall is pretty great and the character writing is pretty fantastic too, but the overall plot just falls really flat for me when I consider all the posibilities outside of the narrow path the 'want' you to think down when they show you the twist
Just a guess, but it's probably an already-written story/short story that got used for a game. When you read, you're just a passenger in someone else's head. But in a game, you're in _control._ The story doesn't focus on what's happening elsewhere, only around you. And much description in the writing wouldn't make sense to put in the game, even in cutscene. Kinda how adaptation-games usually are. If you're playing Frodo's Walking Simulator, you're hoofing it to Mount Doom, and that's it. Everything that happens outside of your two hairy feet is probably not mentioned. Maybe a nugget or two of info from in-game notes, the trademark of 'cut explanation.'
