Ok folks...some interesting facts from the 1996 expo tours....Vinnie wore a bandage on one of his fingers, and said he couldn't do the solos, this so he could only perform rythm guitar. He was reluctant to even play. Sometimes his guitar wasn't even plugged in. The funny thing with the bandage on his finger...he said he had injured his finger and therefore couldn't play. My two cents is that he hadn't even played guitar for a few years. He never bothered to rehearse either. He did this only to promote his 'Eurphoria' EP, for the money and to rip people off. Back to the bandage on his finger, and why he couldn't play... The bandage kept changing fingers and even HANDS at times. He had not injuired his finger, fingers, hand etc. Just another lie from this greatly talented scam of a person. He was confronted about the thing with the bandage on his finger, because sometimes he had forgotten to put it on even. Vinnie had signed a contract for this expo, where he was to perform with the tribute band, but after he got confronted with the bandage on his fingers, he stopped alltogether performing with the tribute act at he expo.I think one guy managed to convince him to do 1 or two songs, by begging him, but after that. NONE! He got more and more paranoid, wanting armed security people, wanted a bulletproof "ticketbox" where he could sign the memorabillia. Wanted the best suites at hotels, transport, firstclass planetickets etc. That was NOT in the contract he had signed. He wouldalso at times, only sign if people bought his "Euphoria" EP, and demanded that there would be no VVI or KISS music played over the speakers at the expo, just his 4 track EP over and over, or else he would travel back to the US. Promoters didn't go with that of course, except in Germany once I think. Also...Vinnie wore a wig. He did so in 1987-88 too. He also fell asleep on the expo tour bus, and his wig had moved while he had slept, even his (now late) wife commented on it when he woke up, making everyone laugh. Vinnie ran into the tourbus bathroom and stayed there for like over an hour. After that he demanded to ble flown to each city or driven in a Mercedes. He ripped the promoters off, signing dinner and hotel bills with their names, and then pulled out of the whole expo thing, by the time it was to travel to the UK, he had flown back to the US, never to be seen again, except for appearing online with false promises, various aliases on message boards, youtube, fb accounts, and of course the infamous mugshot. He even bothered to put on one of his old wigs before the police escorted him out after the domestic violence thing in 2011.

Ace was done with the band at that point because he said he was having a nervous breakdown. Paul went to Ace's house to beg him stay in the band but Ace was too far gone at that point. What a comparison .."Vinnie didn't rape anyone or run a bus over a bunch of girl scouts" ?? I think what he did over the course of 20yrs speaks for itself.
He gives rockstars a bad name (or just himself) but in comparison he stands alone because he doesn't represent the typical rockstar at all in my opinion. In all my years I have never heard of anyone doing what he has done ..sure there are some isolated cases but Vinnie is by far the worst ..he's an embarrassment to himself & his name. He has to live with himself (alone & in fear) so that's a from of punishment in itself !
...and yes, if you compare Vinnie to a serial killer ..he looks pretty good but that's not the case ..'apples & oranges'. He's a thief, a liar, a scamming opportunist who burned everyone who he crossed paths with or tried it seems. In the music business word spreads quickly and when you tarnish your credibility & reputation , the damage is done & unless you own up to what you did & make apologies, kiss some ass & make restitution to the parties you screwed over , nothing gets better & you come off looking worse as time passes. Hiding from what you've done doesn't make it go away & people won't forget , that's what you'll be remembered for.

Vinnie is DONE with the music business. You will never hear from him again. He doesn't want anything to do with it. He has liquidated everything related to music, including gold and platinum awards. His first wife was murdered and his second wife passed away prematurely. He hates life in more ways than one. Imagine having a gift of songwriting and music and absolutely resenting it, to the point of believing you have been cursed by it.
