Nice! I like locale-specific tanks. I have a tank with 4 species from the Leaf River (MS): Blacktail Shiner (Cyprinella venusta) Weed Shiner (Notropis texana) Blackspotted Topminnow (Fundulus notates) and Longear Sunfish (Lepomis megalotis)
I have about ten of these fish in my tank. Love it

What was the species name of that skittish fish?
Are you referring to the little catfish, if so that would be the slender Madtom
Do you name any of your fish?
I got to many to name all of them . I do have an African bush fish named Keanu .
