Less than 1% of the population has perfect skin so I wouldnt worry to much. Even the majority of models and celebrities I work with dont have perfect skin. Skip the magnifying mirror if it bothers you X

I just want to say that your videos are wonderful. Since I started using your techniques, and after buying a couple of products you've recommended, I've received so so so many compliments (the women of whom I've pointed to your channel :) ) I've struggled with self-esteem my whole life, and this has helped me immeasurably. So, basically, THANK YOU - you're awesome for sharing your expertise with us, especially since you don't have to. When I see you've uploaded a new video it brightens my day!

Here's a tip for older women with oily/combination skin and I got this from watching a LOT of Lisa's videos because she is amazing with the why and how. If you don't need a lot of coverage in all areas, use a tinted moisturizer, but this IS the moisturizer for the entire face. DON'T double up on it or it'll be like a slick. Tarte clay is my favorite and use a translucent setting powder lightly only in your T-zone. Also, something I've figured out on my own is I put the tinted moisturizer in my under eye area as well. After it sets, I then only put a tiny amount of concealer (almost matches my skin tone) from inner nose by eye to just almost to the middle under eye and I dab dab dab with a finger then use a very light flat small concealing brush to make sure it is blended evenly. I look up and gently pull down to make sure no concealer is sitting in fine lines. Gentle sweep. I then set this with a few grains of undereye concealer, but so little with again, a flat brush.
The more you put on aged skin, the older it looks. Go light, especially under eye. Even when Lisa goes heavier under her eye, she has beautiful under eye area, barely any creases or wrinkles and she's in great light. This isn't the average woman.
Sorry so long, but finding out that this worked for me changed my life. I don't use foundation anymore and my skin has never looked better because it absolutely looks natural. I also definitely do her minimal blush routine, but I am naturally pale and work with it.

About tip no 5, if your foundation is water based then mix it with another water based foundation. If it's oil based, mix it with another oil based. If it's silicone based, mix it with another silicone based foundation.
I once mixed an oil with a water and it didn't go well :(

Lisa, I am so thankful I found you here. My mom worked at Estee' Lauder for many yrs and she educated me on this subject. Unfortunately, she has left the US to go back home to our country, Greece to be with our family..I remain in the states.RI, New England to be exact. She brought me to the US at the age of 7yrs old. She chose the perfect shades for me. One for the winter when my skintone is olive & a darker shade for the summer when I'm tan. You're BRILLIANT! Thankyou so very much. Kat

LOVE this series! As the result, I do: 1. change my bathroom lighting to natural bulbs. Daylight is hard to come by here, but changing bulbs made a BIG difference, I now apply less fdtn. 2. shift to more emollient formulation, I didn't realize how important this is until I see a fdtn I thought was good and close up it actually accentuates flaky bits of skins. 3. I matched my fdtn to my neck, which is 1 full-shade lighter but looks a lot more natural. Thanks, Lisa!

Hi Lisa. Thank you very much for taking your time to do all these videos, I've been enjoying watching them. I've been wanting to ask you for a long time if you could do something similar with eyeshadows. A basic eyeshadow video. Or a series if necessary. Thanks
