CLIP DESCRIPTION:
McQuade (Chuck Norris) and Rawley (David Carradine) face each other in hand-to-hand combat.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
In this Spaghetti-western-like martial arts actioner, Texas Ranger J. J. McQuade (Chuck Norris) is up against the weapons-dealer Rawley Wilkes (David Carradine) after Wilkes kidnaps McQuade's partner and daughter and takes them to Mexico. McQuade's personal vendetta is encouraged by the government because Wilkes is hijacking U.S. arms shipments for his illicit weapons deals and the government wants him stopped. After the kidnapping incident, McQuade is assigned Kayo (Robert Beltran) a rookie patrolman, to accompany him in his fight, and he is also joined by FBI-agent Jackson (Leon Isaac Kennedy). Jackson and McQuade track down Wilkes' secret airstrip -- and that is when the fireworks begin. Every weapon known to human technology is brought into the picture as McQuade, also armed with his lethal hands and feet, goes ballistic.

Chuck Norris's best movie he ever made among many. The second best fight scene of all time. The greatest was Chuck vs. Bruce in Enter the Dragon.

Director Steve Carver made a great combination between an "intro" Sergio Leone style decorated with the excellent music of Francesco De Masi
Can we all give a shout out to all those actors playing the dead bodies in this? I mean, look at the shirtless guy in particular. Unless its a really good well made dummy, that dude had to lie shirtless in the sun for as many days (or weeks) as this scene needed to be shot in the same position in the sun for hours on end.

Robert Beltran should have used the Vulcan Sleep Grip he learned from Mr. Spock to put DAvid Carradien to sleep. Or he could have used a Phaser on Carradine.

This may be a good film and all, but that doesn’t give you the right to blaspheme.
The best part of this movie was watching David Carradine pretend like he actually knew martial arts.
At that point, he had learned some Tai Chi 😁 He said in his autobiography that knowing he was going to face Norris, he trained a lot to do his best. And that was his best. 😀

Chuck Norris is undoubtedly one of the worst actors in Hollywood. With that being said, I do like it that his characters are unambiguous. You know Chuck is the hero of the story. Not the anti hero, the HERO.
There's a strict formula in Chuck's movies; don't mess with his family, his wife and daughter. Don't kill his partner. Don't use profanity. I don't recall Chuck ever using profanity in his movies. No female nudity. No severed limbs or decapitations. The arch villain always had to die. No ifs, ands, or buts. Bad guy sometimes gets shot after he gets beat up. I don't ever recall Chuck sparing the antagonist in his movies.

@@leoperidot482 IMO, I think Lone Wolf McQuade, Silent Rage and An Eye For An Eye are exceptions in the acting department with Chuck Norris. He is very humble about his limited acting ability which he has acknowledged in interviews. I admit that it is hard to get through an episode of Walker Texas Ranger.
