Just the theme song bring back so many memories. This use to be my favorite tv show when I was a very young kid (7, 8, 9 yrs old) i watched every single episode 😜
"Chris is back! He's gonna be fine if he can spell out that word." Hahahahaha, so funny! I am notorious for rolling my eyes at people so when I came out of a 9 day coma, and my mom started crying (happy tears of course) and I rolled my eyes and smiled my sister burst out laughing and looked at my mom and said "yep she's gonna be just fine!" Two weeks later I was well enough to go home. I am so glad that Chris is okay. (Side note: Who else thinks they should do a Rescue 911 reboot?)
Whoever they get to host and narrate, it'll be good just to have this show on the air again. Public knowledge of how to properly treat injured people has tanked since this show ended; I feel like screaming my head off every time that I see someone in a fictional TV show even SUGGEST pulling out an impaled object!
Today’s the 34th anniversary of when this happened so Chris is 50. We hear this happened on a Thursday and 31 days before Memorial Day. When I heard what happened to Chris, I was extremely worried and frightened because I didn’t know what kind of injuries he had.
Very similar happen to my brother at 17...only he was alone. And wasn't speeding. He hit a mound of dirt left by road work crew.... rolled SUV 5 times.... he enede up a quad... died 11 year later from choking at the hospital and no one helped him... he chocked for 15 minutes and no one knew!!!
Even when I was 16, I though I was too young to drive...and I was given a lot of lessons at an early age and still felt too young. I do not think 16 is the best age...I think 16 is when driving lessons should start and they should have at least 2 years of that. Like every 2 weeks they go to a program...and have to complete a lot before they are even aloud to get on the road. Driving is already scary for adults...kids will fool around...they always will...16 is still a baby! If they are able to vote, drink, be out late....they should drive either!!
My dad being a Brit (Northern guy from Lancashire) said "you're not going to drive til you're 18 thats how they did it in my country" that ended up being the case as I didn't wait til I was 18 and I thought I was gonna be too bad of a driver. I'll admit I'm still a bit of a speedster at times but of course I'm still careful especially at night in unfamiliar areas. I've only had 3 accidents (all minor with only one being my fault) and I still have nightmares about having an accident similar in nature where I'm severely injured.
WE GOTTA STOP SAYING DUMB STUFF LIKE THIS. AGE AND MATURITY IS TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. PEOPLE Way older got into car accidents. Age has nothing to do with it. But that's common sense thinking.
i got into a bad wreck in 2020 & one of the first things i told my mom was that i wasn’t happy i survived & even now i still catch myself thinking that. only someone who hasn’t experienced this type of trauma would think it was shitty of chris to say he wished he didn’t survive

his mom keeping a journal to record her thoughts was a really good idea, even if she chose to never show it to anyone

@@joewebb4495 Oh YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Is William Shatner hosting/narrating?
Yes and how former patients are doing now would be great too

Chris is the spittin' image of his parents!
I never knew how dangerous joyriding can be.
They all should be charged for reckless and dangerous driving
Thank goodness the kid survived
I wonder how some of these people are doing nowadays....

Lol I found this vid cause one of them is my coworker. He's doing great, has a geology degree, and a couple of kids.
Best Mother’s Day ever.

Yeah most countries don't let kids drive cars until they turn 18
Yeah in 1982 I got my learner's permit at age 14 (was only able to drive to school without an adult).

I got certified for CERT and it was a great accomplishment for me!!
I wish this show was back on! I love it!
Teenagers should be more careful when driving.
Good luck kids will be kids.
Realistically everyone should be more careful when driving
Let your 16 year old drive at your own risk. They are children.
It’s been 30 years since this accident happened so Chris is 46 now.
Now he 48
How do you know?
@@seanmc7128 I just do. It’s the math.
@@PrincessEli82 oh come on
Don’t drive so fast. Especially at night. Stay home and be safe Bad things and accidents happen at night.

Can you blame the kid for saying that he want to die
