      @tjsguideservice I'm over by Backus. Picked up a livescope first part of the summer pretty amazing tool, I'm still learning how to get it dialed in. Tough to find walleyes on the lakes around here it seems. Do you know Tim S. with Walking on Water Outdoors? He's my uncle's brother.

    Great video and very informative, thank you! What do you use for mapping contour lines? Is there a mapping app that helps with finding structure?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Appreciate the comment, Brandon! I have used a lake master chip in my Humminbird unit a lot. I have also used the navionics app. The one I have been using most recently and that I used in this video is the omnia premium pro app. It will also have the navionics maps built in to that app soon. Hope it helps!

    Another cool video!
    I know you gave the info on your rod/reel/line setups in the video.. What's your "ideal" length and action for the Foolers? Have you ever used baitfeeder reels for the foolers or I Fish Pros?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Appreciate it, Phil! That’s a great question. I do like a longer rod (34-40”) and it depends on what I’m fishing, but I typically like a fast action rod. I have used bait feeder reels with them, but I honestly don’t like it. I prefer to just let it free spool if possible. It seems even that small amount of tension can spook the fish sometimes!

      @philswenson8291 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tjsguideservice you bet!
      Similar to what I use for mine. I'm always fishing with the hopes of getting Walter's, but I almost always get pike and occasional bass. I totally understand what you're saying on even that little bit of tension, I know I've had my hook cleaned because of it!
