Hey hope! That poppin cookin is a different version! The ones you bought you mix into different candy versions of food. The other kind is a mix that makes the candy from liquids. Same concept but a different candy
That's what I was coming here to say. NerdEcrafter did a video on the candy you're looking for hope, it's a whole separate kit I'll try to find the exact one for ya.
I think Tammy's sugar crystals are actually Kohakuto, a type of traditional Japanese candy which is basically dried agar jelly. It is quite easy to make but the way she moulds and colours it gives it a new look, the products are so beautiful.
We have something similar in Belgium too :) It is called cuberdon and it is a cone shape. The outside is crunchy (not as crunchy as in the video though) and the inside is like a jelly/liquidy texture 🤤
So glad someone commented about this, I’ve seen another video where someone ate these crystal candies & I swore there was a Japanese candy I thought was the same thing but couldn’t remember the name of it! It was going to drive me nuts & I would have no idea what to google to try to find it haha
For your future culinary endeavors, sugar dissolves very easily in water. Just soak the bowls with the sugar in water for like 10 minutes in hot water or like 30 minutes in cold water and the sugar will dissolve and you can clean it. I do this all the time when I make caramel.
As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate how many small businesses and individuals you purchase from in your videos! I can’t wait to see more! ❤
I've made that stringy candy before! Japanese tongue candy or gummy tsureta. Emmymade used to make these kits all the time. You can probably get them at an Asian grocery store. I don't actually think Poppin Cookin has this particular one but it is owned by Kracie. The package is like plastic also I remember the taste was extremely mediocre and a little plastic too lol. Still fun!
@@Star.girlie. @that1personlol Josh Weisman has a a video on his channel. Sorted Food also has some from awhile ago. I've never tried, but it always looks super easy.
HOPE!! The Japanese one you need the gummy tsureta kit specifically for it to be how it is in the tiktok, the kits you got were totally different kits. Popin Cookin do all sorts of creative food related candy kits, you just needed a specific one for this.
@@stephaniepoulin2406 I watch waayyyy too many videos on the different Popin Cookin kits and now know too much haha, my useless knowledge finally came in handy!
Hi! Can you tell me the name of the Australian company with the marshmallows? I’m dying to try them. I didn’t see the name anyplace! Please tell me if you know it.
This is a win win for Tammy!!! Those are amazing and I’m DEFINITELY going to check her out for my daughters wedding!!!! My daughter and her soon to be wife would LOVE them!!!!
A shop near my university sold gourmet guava marshmallows when there were like markets and fairs going on. I’ve been chasing that flavour ever since, they were so good!!!
The Japanese diet candies that you got aren't the same thing as what the tik tok video had, but all Japanese DIY candies are so fun to make!! I've only tried a couple of them, but the ones I did try were delicious!😂
Pretty sure that Tammy's candies are kohakuto. It's an extremely popular textured candy for a lot of mukbangers who also do ASMR videos (like Hongyu ASMR). I always love hearing that crunch and the slight softness inside!
I love how Lee is watching you open the packs and the freezer. And then his little tail when you said this was phenomenal. Thank you Tammy, you can see only Lee's tail wagging beside you, HAHAHA...Love it!
Simply just freezing the grapes themselves is a great treat...for some reason it makes them even sweeter! The texture is also amazing lol...great to do in the summer.
Hey Hope! The grape candy that you made with Jolly Ranchers is called Tanghulu! It is a Chinese candy that you make with melted sugar and a bunch of different types of fruit. You dip it into ice water directly after rolling them into your sugar. Does not harm your fruit, hardens your sugar.
thats not tanghulu its similar but its not tanghulu. tanghulu is where you melt sugar than you take different types of fruit and dip it than wait for it to harden, you dont need to dip it into icy water.
Marshmallows can be made at home. They're messy to make, but so much better. I imagine the gourmet ones are very much like home made. Those grape candies are so cute! The crystal candy is absolutely gorgeous.
I just want a whole video of hope eating things that look like other non-edible things. Like can we put her in a room with a bunch of edible objects mixed with real ones and ask her to locate the food? :'D Damn those rock cookies at the end were SO nice!
Oh you so should! I wanted wedding cupcakes and I did them and I'm so happy I did. Looking back it's a memory that I'm proud of following through on "hey this seems cool, I want that for this special occasion!"
Hi Hope! You bought the wrong brand of candy, it is supposed to be yummy nummies, and there is one called “Yummy Nummies Ribbon” and that is the correct one, so please try it out! I hope my suggestion was good!

You could creat cakes, dango, waffles , ice cream and so on!
Just for reference Hope, I'm sure you know that the edible stained glass shoe was made out of isomalt. It is a very fragile sugar, that doesn't tend to taste very good on it's own. That is isomalt in the simplest of terms for you.😊 I wouldn't have recommended eating it. 😂
