I love watching these, it's like watching a friend open Christmas or birthday gifts! Hope's reaction to the toys was so cute. One perk of parenthood that I love is getting to play with cute/ fun things again. I got a Squishmallow for my son and loved it so much I had to get one for myself, lol. It's so nice as an extra pillow (they come in different sizes) that even our cat likes it!
I’m really thinking that was the mini rainbow piñata that never arrived at my house. It was from Target and they refunded me! I got it to decorate for a November birthday, so if this was right before Christmas (all these packages)-then this is very possible haha! 😂😂😂

Not sure if anybody's commented yet, but the furby had corroded batteries in him! A pretty bad case of them too. However, you should, in theory, be able to get him working again if you just take a q-tip and some vinegar and clean off the battery acid! I've had to do it with some of my furbies, and it works like a charm!

@@ravioli2708 it's all in how far the battery acid got into the toy. I've seen it work but I've seen plenty of times when it didn't. If it gets on to a main circuit board the item is probably toast. If it's just in the battery compartment it might be OK.

For the furby, that usually happens with batteries start leaking, which is not a good thing for electronics. If the damage isn't as bad, try cleaning up the contacts with alcohol and a swab, and make sure there isn't any battery liquid residue. Once it's done, it should work again if the damage wasn't that bad to begin with.

As someone who's watched quite a few packages make it all the way to my local post office, be rerouted without a notification, and then watch the package head to California or wherever, I feel a slight twinge of annoyance that USPS and others are making money off of these packages, when if they actually did some due diligence, they'd be able to find/contact the person the package belongs to.

I don't know if buying someones mail is illegal but i'm pretty sure selling and opening someone's mail is so yeah Hope should be ashamed of herself for doing this and this type of stuff should be getting reported to the cops i mean this is just straight up stealing peoples mail

I know I'm way late on this, but if anyone ever encounters a similar situation as Hope with the Furby, there is a chance you can salvage the item. All of that white mess is corrosion from the old batteries leaking. I would advise wearing gloves to protect your skin from any potential new leakage of battery acid, but the corrosion itself will not burn you if you wash your hands thoroughly after you finish.
To try to save the item, you need to do the following:
1. Remove and appropriately dispose of old batteries.
2. Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol (70% or higher) into a disposable cup and grab a few q-tips.
3. Dunk one end of the Q-tip into the alcohol and begin cleaning out all areas of the battery compartment. (The corrosion is what is keeping the batteries from making a connection with the metal circuit)
4. Pay extra attention to the metal areas and springs of the circuit.
5. Once the battery compartment is as clean as you can manage, leave the item set for a little while for all the alcohol to evaporate from the compartment. 20 minutes is typically enough.
6. Once dry, place new batteries according to directions and check to see if the item has power.
7. If the item does not turn on/operate, repeat steps as many times as desires.
8. Bear in mind... Sometimes, the battery acid will leak into the item farther than the battery compartment and destroy other vital parts. I usually assume the item is unsalvagable if it does not power on after three rounds of cleaning and dying. But use your discretion.
The cartoon watch was a show on Nickelodeon called “Ren & Stimpy” ☺️
That show was my jam! Used to watch it daily when I got home from school back in the 90’s 💕
I was shocked she didn’t know it… then I realized how old I am compared to her apparently. 😂 I’m 36 and I remember watching that show. My mom even had their stuffed animals. She was even a fan and we still quote things from it. “Rubber nipples” 😂😂😂

I’ve been suffering from really bad depression and anxiety recently to the point where I’m out of work and don’t leave the house much. Your videos give me the chance to get out of my head and give me the chance to feel normal for 8-16 minutes. I find myself watching your videos over and over on repeat (Especially the Kardashian/Jenner ones). I know we don’t know each other but thank you to you, Leo and the man behind the cam for being my friends through this dark time ❤️
I don't go outside myself due to disability, sometimes I get on Google Earth and explore my neighbourhood and other places, try to get on Meetup app to help socialize, stuff like that as my anxiety allows. It can feel so isolating to have something that prevents you from leaving the house and I send you best wishes in dealing with it the best way for you ❤️

Hey former jeweler here! I’m a little late, but the Seiko watch probably got lost on the way to get its pins replaced. Those are the pieces that hold the links together, sometimes a watch needs specific pieces that your local jeweler may not have. Might also have needed repair internally if it was in the mail. Can’t tell the condition of the watch from the video, but it might be fine if you just put some pins in it if it’s clean :) might need a new battery too depending on the make. They’re relatively nice watches, and range 100-500+ new. Sometimes you can even find the original owner cause of the serial code in the back! Thanks for the great content❤️

My son's Christmas gift got lost in the mail (had emailed the etsy company), and I thought "oh man, what if it ends up on Hope's channel." But then a solid month after ordering (mid Jan.) the package showed up with the original shipping label (12/21 shipping date on it), so I guess it was found.
And the watch is Ren & Stimpy, used to watch that with my dad when I was little. Still quote the show on occasion.
I love how excited you get about some of them, its like watching kids on their birthday or Christmas opening presents.
