I am looking for something that will give me Traffic lights alerts. If I am driving in a new area, I want to reduce the chance of running a red light. Thanks
TomTom has SHOCKINGLY BAD customer service. i have had 10 days of correspondence with them to get a refund for a brand new but broken device but this has gotten me nowhere! there are scores of people giving the customer service one star reviews. it is shocking. nobody should have to deal with this sort of thing, i will now use google instead of the expensive rubbish!
Sat navs great in 2006 but in 2024 I don't see the point in a standalone unit that has to piggy back off your phones data for traffic updates. I moved to using google maps and waze on my large display phone. Sat navs units are obsolete now
@@MP-nj1qy maybe on a slow phone but never had a problem with my Android phone. I did have problems with my Tom Tom unit freezing and then restarting whilst on journeys i had no clue where i was going to. A great bit of technology in the first15 years of the 2000s but smartphones have caught up with everything and made them obsolete whist still being a target for thieves by damaging your car to get to em.
My Garman unit isn't supported any longer according to their website. I paid for lifetime support. Gave my paid invoice documentation and their response was no response! Now using my phone navigation for driving and have given up on Garman. However still use my Garman hiking model as an emergency backup support incase I'm lost. It uses small preprogrammed memory tabs than don't need to be updated.
These garmen devices fail to find ANY post codes, even a lot of street names. Used mine today. Wouldn’t find any post codes to a wedding registry. I ended up 5 miles from where I meant to be. Updated software last week. Bag of shit
Bull crap review. Narrator read product description and used manufacturer pics. Criteria for what is the best? Customer reviews. Awful repetitive music too. Does anyone do a review on these where they at least get their hands on one?
There is one major downfall of all of them... sound. None are loud enough. And insane that with bluetooth they can't pair with car stereo or bluetooth speaker. A basic tablet can do that and most you can use aux jack as alternative. I have basic mopar stereo paired with bluetooth to tablet and it sends sound with interrupt just like a phone call... so it lowers music and I can hear the direction clearly... So gave away my Garmin DriveSmart 76
Afraid your not using it correctly, I'm aware your maybe not tech savvy but the Drivesmart 76 pairs perfectly with my Pioneer head unit and gives its voice directions over the car speakers perfectly
I like using my NavGO GPS. Had it for a while now and it's better than any Garmin I've used.
How much po
what countries does TomTom still make their standalone GPS devices?

5:48 Lol..the screen is cracked and seriously chipped in the lower left corner.
Garmin drivesmart 66 is the best I have found... has alexa.. and has output bluetooth
Thank you for letting me know about “Alexa”. Now I will not be buying this
@@lalajee143 I think you can disable Alexa and just use the Garmin voice command.
@@lalajee143 66 has a non alexa version too, it cheaper too. YOu can tell by the added or lack of "alexa" behind the screennsize

Until your phone map keeps freezing and you have no clue where to turn next. Speaking from experience 😔

It’s useful when driving in rural areas with no cellular service
You assume everywhere has mobile data

So just tomtom or garmin basically. There's other makes out there
I use map quest using my phone. Faster response.
Why should I buy this if I have g maps ...
games or maps can't show the exact satellite connection with house or roads

Well spotted, you get a free cookie, which special school would you like it sent to?
I'll take common sence...an m2 compass..and ..road alas..I still have a brain....
all navigation software sucks and you only need google map 🗺️
Google maps doesn't do routing like Apple Maps. Not as well, nor as many stops. satellite imagry is better though, I'll give you that
And Google keeps freezing
