- We kick on driving this epic remote touring track through pristine country, the track winds its way from the Coast to inland clay mudflats and we pick up speed on the salt flats making our way toward the final historic location of our journey Israelite bay. We experience epic beach sunrises and some of the best free camping Australia has to offer 🤩

Thanks for watching part two and always engaging 👌🏼
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
🤙🏼
My great uncle jack batt .(John downton Batt)was eatly settler in that area in the 1880s harsh land
That’s pretty interesting, bet you have some great family stories from that era.
@@RovingBeyond there's a story of one Xmas dinner being seagull and damper ruff times ,
@@user-ii1di7fy7c yeah interesting dinner.
Great vid guys, nice job 😊
Thanks mate 👍🏼
Very best wishes guys! How come you didn't get a swimming with the dolphins?
They were pretty far out off shore maybe 100 metres and I had already been for a dip was freezing cold 🥶
Thanks, nothing better than remote. Does your trailer still have the original tank under there to carry fuel ? It must have been a mammoth task getting those conveyer belts out there they are so big and heavy.
No the trailer doesn’t have a tank underneath it, it has a sealed drawer for storage. Yeah would have been a serious mission to transport and install them.
@@RovingBeyond Thanks
Really enjoying your videos guys. Please be careful of baits throughout WA, hate to see your dog pick up a bait. They are known to be dropped from aircraft in the form a chunks of meat or pellet type. Best wishes Tony
Hey mate, yeah unfortunately same situation in NSW so we keep her close by when we are in areas of concern.
Great video, just found your videos, have done this tracks a couple years ago in a couple of Patrols and camper trailers fantastic country but quite isolated.
@@rogerspeldewinde01 yeah such a great track 👍🏼
👍
Wow! What a trip - an amazing looking part of the country in a fantastic video. On my list of to-do's with my Lizard. Really like your trailer ! What sort of fuel consumption do you find you get with the perentie and the trailer on these trips? Presuming you are in low range the whole way?
I got about 13-14 ltrs/100 on this trip mainly due to the sandy dune sections. Yes was in low range the entire 500 kms 👍🏼
@@RovingBeyond very impressive! Most vehicles would be close to double that when towing!!!
@@badmatt4162 yeah it gets pretty good fuel consumption for a vehicle from 1989, looking at putting a 5 speed box in it to make it even better when sitting on flat country highways.
@@RovingBeyond hope you document it and put it up here for us to see
@@badmatt4162 yes definitely will the TH-cam is under way and to stay as getting a lot of good feedback, I will be documenting all the mods I will be doing aswell as lots more trips 👍🏼
❤❤❤
