    Can you explain why you use both paracetic acid and isopropyl alcohol. I'm just a home brewer and use StarSan so trying to figure out why you've gone this way on a pro level.
    Also, I know it's better safe than sorry but do you think the beer could be light struck so quickly via the sight glass? Obviously a great practice but I'm curious how sensitive it is. i.e. how long it needs to be hit by light to be struck.
    Thanks!

    Hi Sam really enjoying the new videos.thanks for the very informative videos on commercial brewery processes, what is your process for cleaning and purging kegs prior to filling to ensure no o2 in the kegs, cheers, Ben

    My left ear loved this video....
    Please fix the audio guys, it's almost every video only working on one side.

      Thanks for your comment. We are aware of the audio issue and noted this in our video description. Unfortunately we have filmed videos prior to knowing about the audio issue. We don't have the time to re film them so it's going to have to do. Cheers

      @@flamingalahbrewingco if you use premiere pro, or any modern editing software, you should be able to re equalise over both L and R with existing audio quite easily. Suggest you to do this in the meantime as it's very, very hard to watch as is!

      If you watch it on the tv or iPhone without earphones the sound is fine. Cheers

    Awesome video as always. How do you clean out the kegs? I'm just on a home brew scale and have a bucket blaster I throw PBW at but I am assuming the process is totally different when you have a dozen 50L kegs to clean

    Hi Sam. Thanks for that. Quick question: the keg does not have any pre-pressure before you connect the line? it pressurizes up with the beer/tank pressure? -- if that is the case, as it equalizes at first, isn't it creating some foam already inside the keg?. I would have thought you pressurize the keg ahead (like fill with the CO2 line) so any flow only starts when you open that discharge line, maybe you did that purging whatever oxygen was inside the keg and I missed it. thanks for any insight!

    Hi Sam! Are these fitting for bar keg sold separately or do you have to modify this yourself? What parts included, with part description, model and type? Hello from Sweden.

    Why do you spray the acid and also the isopropyl? Isopropyl doesn't do enough on it's own?

    Hi Sam, great video, I am planning to do the same and fill as required from the uni. I see you replace ur tank pressure with co2, does this change your carbonation at all. I was planning to use N2 instead?

    • @flamingalahbrewingco
      @flamingalahbrewingco  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Richard
      We use CO2 because it’s cheaper and on a commercial scale, every penny counts.
      It doesn’t effect carbonation because carbonation is a temperature and pressure calculation. Once the beer is carbonated you keep your head pressure above saturation temperature and it won’t dissolve into the beer, unless it spends too long in the tank.
      Cheers for the question- keep brewing!
