Doc comes in to talk, asks if I hear voices , I said " yes " when I talk to God .Im as crazy and sane as the next, I emotionally feel more than others!

Brent has, hands down, the #1 greatest rock voice I have ever heard. The perfect amount of gravel and strain in the heavier parts, and then right back to his perfectly smooth, ballad-like clean voice as if nothing ever happened.

AC/DC are the Young Brothers and sisters really along with the support of their family and us the fans. I will always consider AC/DC my #1 band. Rock and Roll (I have to also give credit to Aerosmith for being the first rock music I heard and fell in love with) Elvis, you're up there too! AC/DC will always be my #ONE.

Just saw Shinedown for the first time last night at DTE. Words cannot express how impressed I am. WOW! Metallica was my favorite concert, and these gentlemen soared to 1st place by a land slide. If you have not seen this band live, it is worth every single penny you can muster up. Thank you Shinedown.

Jami Lowe Oh yes I'm fine. My son was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma in may of 2011. He had chemo and radiation treatments and was in 100% remission by the end of 2011! He will be 24 years old this February. Nice to hear you beat it also!

@@Entei9000 I love Breaking Benjamin. I saw them at Rocklahoma the year it rained the entire 3 days. We were freezing cold standing in mud a foot deep but it was still amazing. Lol. I think I have just about seen every rock band out there but Shinedown is something special for sure.
I am 60 and have seen every great band. from Asia to Zeppelin. These guys are one of THE best live bands I have seen.
When I look at the changes this band has gone through from 2010 to now, it blows my mind. So much shit has changed for the better in all four band members and it makes me so proud to be one of your loving fans. You make my soul tear up Shinedown

When my youngest daughter was born she was crying in my arms and I kept trying to calm her down nothing was really working. So i got my phone out and played this song and she instantly stopped so I nicked named her Diamond Eyes cause of this song and she has bright blue eyes.

I went and saw shinedown for the first time in concert about a month and a half ago. It was the greatest Tuesday night of my life ever. They played this song, and I was going crazy. Throwing my hand in the air, screaming, face turning red and everything. And I’m only 16, so everyone is so shocked when they find out I listen to shinedown. My dad showed them too me many years ago. I was 7 or so. The song he showed me was devour. Ever since hearing that, I fell in love with them. And the thing is, even with their genre of music, Brent Smith is one of the nicest, most stand up guys you will ever meet. He’s just so nice. I got the joy of being able to talk to him after the concert I went too because it was for my birthday. He was just so nice. Greatest guy ever and greatest band ever.

We took our daughter to see Shinedown 11/13 for her 12th birthday. They've been her favorite band since she was 8, and she was mesmerized 💖
At one point, she was about 8 feet from Brent, and she kept telling us "BEST. NIGHT. EVER."
She connects with this music, Shinedown's lyrics have a lot of meaning for her, and I love that this gives us something to connect. I REALLY miss Brent's hair though ;)

Absolutely the best song ever during workouts. Any time I deadlift or shoot for PRs on compounds this is it, non negotiable. As much as I love Disturbed or some of those really powerful a7x songs, this song really can transform you. Listen to it every single day over the last one year and I still cant stop listening to it.

I'm 30 years old and shinedown remains to not only be my favorite band, but a band who saved my life when I was homeless & on meth. I am 4 years sober living a happy life with my sons now thanks to them and their beautiful lyrics. People need to learn to listen before they speak. I would give ANYTHING to thank them for saving me. I missed them in concert once because I had just given birth and haven't had money to see them since but meeting them is a dream just to simply say thank you. I wouldn't be alive without shinedown.

I met Brent when he was staying with Ronnie Van Zandts wife because he had nowhere to go actually. Ronnie and his wife recognized talent. He sang a little solo song he just made up out of thin air as he sang it. Wow, I was blown away. What a great voice. I got chill bumps running up my back to my neck. I knew he'd find his way. Keep on trucking' Brent.
Just got back from seeing Shinedown and Godsmack tonight at Jiffy Lube Live in VA. This was the second song they opened with and it was freaking AMAZING! Seriously, this is THE perfect Shinedown song to get the crowd pumped up for what's to come and it worked perfectly. They kicked so much ass and Brent is a truly kickass singer and person. Long live Shinedown!!!

I have been a fan for years, but I can't help but think about how much he looks like Ozzy in this video........ Regardless, their music has helped me get through some VERY rough and dark times in my life. I am positive that without it, I would have become one more statistic of veteran suicide. Thank you, for helping me find a way, and for shining a light on the path back home. Much love.

I saw these guys for my first concert ever... couldn't be more pleased from it. Brendan was soooo intent on getting our lame-ass crowd up and on their feet and having a good team. He jumped down into the pit and made his way to the back of the room where I was coincidentally sitting and I couldn't have been more than 30 feet away from the guy. Soooo awesome and interactive with his audience(s)... Much respect.
