Devour is one of my favorite songs from Shinedown because it's so immensely incredible hardcore strong and powerful it makes me want to go on a ravenous rampage
My dad always used to listen to shinedown back in 2009. This songs brings back a lot of memories. I wish music this played on the radio nowadays. -_- oh well
The first time I heard Devour was also from Final Destination 4 and I was hooked. I got to see Shinedown live a few months ago. They didn't perform Devour, but It was a good show!
@@evanbiter5969 thats a bit much. If put ronnie james dio, rob halford, joakim from sabaton, bruce dickinson, and Rise Against's vocalist (names escape me its early here). But i also admit i got a thing for audience engagement too and its thst combination that makes the magic. Brent has that and thats why hes up there with my top favorites. Freddy is another tier all his own though. Thats its own separate thing.
I've seen them 3 times in the last two years. They have become my favorite band and all I listen to. They're coming again in Sept but I spent $700 on two tickets last month and now they are up to $900. Can't really justify it, unfortunately.. But would if I could because they are phenomenal live - Brent Smith is a master front man.
I think its because they dont cut thier songs, its all one take, or atleast thier songs are done so you can actually pause for breath without messing up the song
Rad title for a song and the lyrics match it plus the thumbnail and Brett's singing in it are as cool as it can get for a heavy metal band. The perfect gem to listen to when you want to feel badass while devouring a sandwich. As far I'm aware this band doesn't disappoint and as time goes on thankfully their legacy would continue to live in especially through the impact they had on heavy metal music.
The Final Destination for me with the racetrack. It was the last great Final Destination film in the franchise. Death nearly lost completely if one of the damn idiots don't go after a coin in the pool.
Personal opinion, Shinedown is this generation's ultimate rock band. Amazingly talented and they have their shit together, which means we all reap the benefits of their music for years to come! Twenty years from now (when I'm 75) I'll still be listening to them!!
@@stevehunt9051 I find some rap ok, but I'm personally pretty branched out in the music department. I have a saying, if I have to tolerate a friend's music they can tolerate mine for 10 minutes instead of giving the look of disgust they give.

Can we all agree that this song is just sheer energy turned into an absolute eargasm....
This song was the best choice for The Destroyer. It used this song from 2012 up until it went on hiatus in 2016 due to financial difficulties.
Hang in there! Whatever your going through will get better, I promise, use this music to get through.
I'm 55 years old and don't get into much of todays metal/ hard rock but I have to say I really like Shinedown.
Same here, and a few others: Alter Bridge, Seether, Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace, try them out.
How could anyone not Love this Band?!!!!

An absolute kickass song, a rarity in today's rock alternative stations. Straightforward, never slowing down. Phenomenal album, too !
This song is the first I ever heard from this band and I became equally interested in the band. I really like this song, it is so full of energy.
The drummer is so underrated..
Holy shit. Those beats are so clean, dude.
Barry Kerch is a genius!
This is the first shinedown song I ever heard, so glad my father introduced me to it all those years ago. Thanks dad
