- I found myself tempted by this collection of old inserts, together with a vintage slimline 3CL that had seen better days.

The leather looks great on the binder. Those are interesting inserts. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Thank you as always for your delightful feedback. I appreciate that.
I think I saw this listing and interested was peaked also due to the texture! Great find. I love finding the odd inserts, like the b sides of the travelers company ones
Thank you for your feedback.
I absolutely love seeing the old Filofax inserts. You made me wonder, did they have a team of people thinking up inserts for specific needs? That's a job I'd love!!! Another great find for you Neil - thanks again for sharing
Snap!
I’ve wondered that too.
I love the binder and the leather/texture❤ I wish fiLOFAX would make their binders like they used to or at least bring some back into their lineup 📒
That is my wish too.
Luckily though, other manufacturers have noted the decline in Filofax quality, and offer alternative binders for discerning consumers.
Thank you for another video. I do have one of those hole punch tools but it is the 7-hole version made for Franklin Covey Classic size. It looks like the Filofax version is a lot thinner than the FC version just because it lays flat. The FC version is stored closed so it id pretty thick in a binder. I gues it doesn't matter as much when you have 1.75" rings. 😂
i like the idea of those portable hole punches, but i've never been able to keep one in my binder for long. it just add so much bulk.
Hey Niel,
Question for the podcast:
What are your thoughts on the Pilot Vanishing point or Moonman (Majohn) A1 from Aliexpress as a middle ground between the feel of fountain pen and the quick deployment of a click pen. Especially when carrying it in a pocket with an edc pocket notebook
I can’t comment on the Pilot “vanishing Point” model yet, but I do have a cheap plastic EDC pen with a Moonman nib.
And I love it!
I will indeed discuss this in a future podcast.
Wanted to ask. I found a Filofax online called The Bridge. Is that a Filofax product and is it vintage?
No, it’s not a Filofax product. It’s more upmarket in my opinion. I don’t own one, but I plan to do so. They look superb but, as always, check images very carefully.
Thanks for your question.
I wouldn’t call that packaging. More like a wing and a prayer. 😅
I agree 😎
But In philosophical. Most parcels I receive, that are poorly packed, have luck on their side.
