The fact that Wriothesley was able to admit the flaws in how he freed his adopted siblings shows what an incredible character he is. He did what he did because he thought it was correct, maybe the authorities would’ve done something if he told them. But to me it sounds like Fontaine’s justice system is deeply flawed, especially with there being lots of odd laws. Nobody thought twice about traveller’s supposed eating a cake meant for furina as true
This is so dark. Fontaine has a lot of child trafficking problems

Technically, genshin already have dark stories from way earlier, but most of those dark stories happened off-screen or hidden in books or artifacts.

I wish this cutscene was portrayed through those 2d artistic styled ones (sorry I dont know how to describe them) like in Lyney's story quest. I wouldve liked to see Wriothesley as a kid/teen and it would've been able to portray his backstory and revenge better

Damn this whole quest was so dark. Especially where u found the real hideout and start reading the note near the rule book and the note in one of the cell where u found the scared girl. Feels like it came out of a horror game lol
I read those notes too. I found a letter that a father wrote to his daughter made me cry a little. It made me think of the relationship my father. My father was never sent to prison (that I know of) but he had made some bad decisions.
Uhh... Why did Hoyo always ending the story quest when something exciting was about to happen...? Can we atleast see those two couple held their wedding in the fortress and celebrate with them? That'll be more sweet❤

I'm sad I was right about Wrio's past :< He wasn't abused per see as I thought, but he did kill his caretakers before being trafficked. I didn't read leaks, I just thought it's fishy Furina left his trial and Neuvillette apparently wasn't able to talk for a long while. Too many children are sold into slavery in Fontaine :(
Also, Traveller and Jeht "cleaned" a whole tribe - really, Paimon shouldn't act so surprised that Wrio is a murderer.
