Nothing ever beats hearing the lift of huge shells like that it’s my favorite part about larger shows

Just that thump it’s like oh shit this is gonna go really high and break really big 😂 worst part about shooting shells like this tho is all the extra work to fill troughs for them lol so much sand and dirt

You're not kidding but some of those shells got real weight to them so we are not talking about 5 more grams of lift here

A great show. One shell at a time, with massive launch thumps, almost as much fun as the display. You can hear the echoes reverberate into the distance. No obnoxious music drowning out the more subtle nuances. I would love to hear a vid of big stuff like this, with real microphones that can handle high db with good fidelity.

I wish the colors had been more vibrant (although the camera probably doesn't do it justice). But other than that, beautiful liftoff, nice formations and execution. The glimmers were gorgeous.
Need a few of these for my NYE block party in Florida. Put neighbors to shame when I catch their palm trees on fire lol

They were nice shells but most of them were not very symmetrical.it really makes you appreciate the Japanese shells and just how good the quality and effort they put into making those

NASA should start getting into the fireworks business
I mean they’re not half bad but not half good . Lift charges could be way higher so the sparks don’t land on people and the explosion should be way tighter so it gives more of a round effect in the middle

I couldnt find your video on the consumer shell demos and comparison. I know I believe the demon shells are some of your favorites. Wanted your opinion on comparison between those shells and the 5" Jawbreakers.
I recommend you stop using autofocus on your camera for these videos. Set it to manual, focus the lens, then leave it alone. The constant in-focus-out-of-focus cycle really detracts from what would be excellent videos.

Some shell builders do it with tails others do not, really just depends on the builder. But that’s the beauty of PGI, pyros get to be expressive
