I think the answer for volume pre/post tax on twisted bow is because people stopped "renting" tbows. Prior to GE tax it was common to just buy an item, use it for the day, sell the item, repeat. As a way to use the item for the content it's good at, then liquidate and use the GP elsewhere when you aren't doing that content. After the tax was added it was no longer reasonable to keep trading in and out of items so people just shifted to holding the item and not selling it

I think at the rate the axe is going before the phase 2 is even out, we're looking at a potential 4b item by christmas.
I thought that everyone knew about the dupes/cheats that were being done in DMM, where you could use the points in the real game...? They essentially duped billions and billions, used those to buy up all the 3rd age items and distribute them across a lot of accounts. Someone finally realized you could really just buy out the entire market of these items, there's not that many of them in the game. I just did some math with an included reddit post mentioning how there might only be 46m hard clues completed. And with that you could estimate how "rare" these items actually are.
I just switched from rs3 to osrs. Osrs should also update their system to allow to traden over max cash. People just use the max cash limit to obfuscate the real item price to manipulate the price on the street
I think there's a lot of gold swapping going on atm between both osrs and rs3 games. I also think with the current merchers in rs3 they've started getting way more involved with the very rare third age items of osrs. And as you've covered these prices are being manipulated on the forums and through discord meet sales so they aren't in the ge. The price is so out of whack on the third age axe it was last listed a few days ago still in ge as 1.7b. No one in their right mind is selling it anymore through the GE (mainly merchers anyway) and there's not enough in game to be going around these days. As for the robes I haven't really noticed but it's funny it's all third age items. I think the third age axe is going to sky rocket soon once those 2handers come out because it is going to deplete the one handed axes in to the 2 becoming irreversible. I could potentially see the thrid age axes becoming the hot ticket item with the pickaxe price.
I would prefer it with the dt2 bosses if they instead used your killcount as a modifier on the drop chance of dt2 ring pieces, I think this would have been a better approach than just hitting the drop mutliple times because the 3 drops just exacerbates the cases where people go super dry or get mega spooned without really making the middle-ground any more consistent a grind than just going for any regular random drop.
Yes it is and has been for sometime there needs to be a cap limit on extremely rare items throughout set a limit of 5 of each item max because no one needs 26 twisted bows unless you are actively manipulating the market out of greed

Dude from dmm that was cashing out on the emblems then selling it back to the lms shops transferred over more than 70b from dmm he’s buying up all the 3rd age
I've been into merchanting pretty much since RS came out, and I can only see 3rd age items being worth max cash, or more (for the rarest ones, i'm not talking about melee/range/mage sets, but weapons and tools). The reason is simple, you need a lifetime to maybe get a weapon/tool from elites or masters. Meanwhile, an obscene amount of cash comes into the game on a daily basis, and people need to invest it as flat money devalues over time, so they'll invest it all into rares. The only reason third age isn't worth max cash in rs3 is that you can complete hundreds of clues per day. There are videos of people opening 50,000 elites at once here on youtube.
The supply of 3rd age items slowly increase where as the RS3 holiday rares never increase and only go down as players quit the game. There is a huge difference between the two. I agree that they will stay expensive but they will fluctuate like they always have
Actually what's much sadder is that nothing lasts forever and one day you might hear one of those names without the other and it is unlikely we would ever know the reason why. May your days be real and your dreams sweet fren.

This is a method of tax evasion through laundering of charitable fund transactions under false pretense. With this in mind I feel like morally speaking we should look at our marketing game the same way. Sure there's no terms of service in regards to the Grand Exchange but there is ethics. Buying low and selling high as one thing but making a maxcash item through forcing a very small market is monopolizing and that's plain wrongggg. (no one likes playing monopoly as proof. Lol)
This is why I quit when G.E passed a poll and came back for ironman. Prior to that I considered myself a "slayer" I would go do slayer tasks to get rare drops not for their high price but because of their value. What I got out of it wasn't the gp, it was the feeling I got when I got to talk to the people I was selling their 1st ever whip to, getting to see what their character and stats looked like, briefly exchanging our account goals with each-other before going our separate ways. That kind of gameplay was extremely valuable to me.
It's because buying gold is the cheapest its ever been. You can buy 1m for $0.15 now to lots of people are buying and 3td age is the only thing that won't get diluted. I'm holding forever. It's just going to get worse until they fix the bot problem.
Low supply and previously low demand. With pvm pumping gold into top players banks as well as pvm gear inflation most players don’t have much to invest in.
I mean me and the other players have been trying to make fletching more profitable for lower levels by driving up pirces and making them dip selectivly. But whats a few dozen thousand coins to a lv 60+ you can easlily wintertodt that in half an hour. Easily

Really though what's going on with dragon picaxes? Will it be just another dragon item headed to under 100k? I find it shitty you get a megarare broken dragon pickaxe and you can only high alch it because it's 2.5m to fix it. Lol

yeah, i was able to do this in dmm with not much money with a few items because it was a much smaller market. Buy out every item on the ge and then whenever someone wants one, you're controlling the price. Was fun, wouldnt even call it manipulation, its risky as well
It's the same thing as markets in the world like the Supercar market. When the super rich want to sell their Supercar because they are bored - if it's a limited run they can just command a price for it if there are only 3 in the world for sale. If someone wants it then they will just buy it for whatever price they demand. Also I think there is a potential surge in the market with GP vs the rarity of the 3a items. If the trillionaire (was revealed this week that one guy has bloody 13 confirmed 3a pickaxes) there can't be more than 20-30 in the game. They are obviously controlling the price for anyone else rich who wants to flex and buy one.
@@janitorizamped they aren't traded on the exchange so no chance to know how many are in the game. Considering their rarity on the drop table, it's highly unlikely that there are even over 100 in the game. From the drop rate I'd say that it's even more likely to be

@@thefatpakyak2826 Why do you think that they need a point? Not everybody is interested in penetrating everything.
kinda pissed that i sold my venator ring and virtus top when they were both half the price of what they are now lol
Dude I've been sitting on 100k rations since forestry came out, glad I dumped them into the GE on Monday for 300gp each.
King condor is encouraging the sale.
Did you stop making the flipping to max set series? I cant find an episode after number 26. Why did you stop if you did?
It's because buying gold is the cheapest its ever been. You can buy 1m for $0.15 now to lots of people are buying and 3td age is the only thing that won't get diluted. I'm holding forever. It's just going to get worse until they fix the bot problem.
Unironically the best osrs money maker is a part time job to buy bonds now. Minimum wage is like 15m/hr
wish you were on the flipping to max series still haha
Rations already have a use, they give run energy when chopping trees
What site are you using for graphs in video?
Im so happy i bought the 3a axe when it was 1.8
trader steve last minite participation on the end was unexpected
Any updates on the Flipping to Max gear series?
Low supply and previously low demand. With pvm pumping gold into top players banks as well as pvm gear inflation most players don’t have much to invest in.
I'm suuuure the fact that Jagex is being sold has noooothing to do with that.
Got a sceptre 1.5 hours after the update and sold it for 750k
I mean me and the other players have been trying to make fletching more profitable for lower levels by driving up pirces and making them dip selectivly. But whats a few dozen thousand coins to a lv 60+ you can easlily wintertodt that in half an hour. Easily
Taking things off the GE and on to the forums gets rid of the tax too
@7:17 *mil not bil you said mole slippers were 1.1 bil
the entire market is up... my bank gained almost 200, over the last weeks...
13:35 Spoilers!
mole slippers are due to an aussies keep it up buds
Bets on tbow rising or falling?
I bought a third age axe and Druidic robe top two weeks ago cause I wanted to put my gp in something rather than have it sit .
you did a video that was most expensive video for every year and it just ended up being 3rd age basically every time. i thought that video was going to be most expensive item released in X year with the item that was most expensive at the time and what item is the most expensive in 2023, that could be an interesting video
Really though what's going on with dragon picaxes? Will it be just another dragon item headed to under 100k? I find it shitty you get a megarare broken dragon pickaxe and you can only high alch it because it's 2.5m to fix it. Lol
I got mole slippers a week ago on my 5th beginner reward. sold them for 700k because I didn't have the right information. rip.
Mole slippers to the moon
Yessirr
I've got a 3rd age druidic robetop on my ironman. Cool to watch the value go up but it's useless to me lol
the forester rations look exactly like the hubba bubba strawberry watermelon gum
damn i remember cheked 2 month ago or so and the 3rd age bo was 600m and i was talking to my clan chat to buy it cuz it was gonna go up never tough it will be this much , they all missed on it
and i had not enough orsr money too :/
If you can buy the market you should be able to set the price, reasonably but obviously greedy
yeah, i was able to do this in dmm with not much money with a few items because it was a much smaller market. Buy out every item on the ge and then whenever someone wants one, you're controlling the price. Was fun, wouldnt even call it manipulation, its risky as well
Flipping to max set needs to come back!!!
It always is.
King called it
couldn't it be inflation from everyone making 1b off DMM swapping?
I mean yeah, anytime there’s money involved there’s gonna be some stuff going on behind the scenes
Oh come on, give @KingCondor his shoutout. He’s more than earned it.
Good to know my 2k stamina potions have trippled in value since I took my brake from the game.
lol the outro was from the series
There's a lot more than 20-30 3a pickaxes in game.
@@janitorizamped they aren't traded on the exchange so no chance to know how many are in the game. Considering their rarity on the drop table, it's highly unlikely that there are even over 100 in the game. From the drop rate I'd say that it's even more likely to be
@@foxernator there are over 100 3a picks in the game. You have no idea what you're talking about. You are just making up all these "facts". You have zero clue how many master clues have been completed in the game.
Is Rocket Money owned by Rocket Mortgage? I work in real estate so the name seemed vaguely familiar
yes is the answer
edit: also why i just pay for member, earning a f2p bond isnt fair anymore, same on rs3 it sucks, cant make any money thats WORTH youlr tome
Wish I could've experienced bonds being cheaper than 7,5 M... felt like ages before I grinded my first one. I feel really bad for people that want to get their first membership via bond with the current prices.
They were like 1-2m back in 2016. Those were the good days.
@@Euro2005mc that’s also when you didn’t have multiple moneymaking methods that made you anywhere from 3-10m/hr
Bonds reflect how hard it is to get gp, so the difficulty in getting a bond hasn't increased by much.
It’s easier to make money rn
Before i quit (came back earlier this month) they were 3m. At the time though the best money maker was like 5m/hr whereas now its 14-17m/hr.
Members: woah 3rd age is over the goal cap
f2p: woah mole slippers are over a mil
