I’ve got these today and installed them into my prebuilt keeb (lofree pro touch tofu) which has standard gateron pro red switches and I enjoy the deep thockiness so much. Awesome switches.
Is there any difference between the tactility of the cream blues and cream blue pros? How do these compare with the jelly purples? Do you have any recommendations for sharp/snappy (not rounded) tactile switches?
in terms of sound, the blue pros have a deeper clack imo. yellows have a higher pitch clack. In terms of feeling, I prefer the blues for the tactile bump but that's just my preference :)
Can you recommend me if I should get the normal ones or the pro ones? I don't really care about the sound , I 'm just worried if the shorter travel distance are noticable comparing to each other
I picked up some of these and they sound great in more enclosed board like a Q series of my GMMK Pro but on a plate mount they are quite loud. However they were very smooth and I didn't need to lube at all. Now just trying to find the right board to put them in as they are stellar switches!
they can still fit if you cut off the 2 plastic pins but it'll be easier to just get the non-pro version. k617 uses outemu socket so Akko switches are few of your only choice for non-Outemu switches.
are they different to the normal cream blues in sound and feel? i plan on making a build with the cb v3 pros and some leftover cb v3 regulars, that's why i wanna know if the difference is very minor so i can use them in the same board, or if i should just buy the standard cream blues to match my current switches.
they're basically the exact same switch but you would probably notice key stability between your non pro and pro versions. just get the same ones that you have of leftovers.

I love the first cream blues but these just seem so much better so I placed my order on 2 packs, thanks for the review.
of course glad I could help!
Why they are better? Really interesting
@@zakkmanFor me personally they have a deeper pitch than the non pros, its a subtle difference but i think they sound better

I want to know about this too but I don't really care about the sound at all
i have genesis 303 tkl keyboard and this keycaps cant go in. i think they are too big can you help me?
Do you think there is a difference in sound from the blue pros and the yellow pros?
Barely it's just that one sounds more tactile as the other is linear

Might have to try these myself. I actually enjoyed the originals so I'm interested in how these compare.
Definitely enjoyable

I lubed mine and now they are noticeably quieter. I've seen this with other akkos too.
which tactile bump is better in the pro lineup: lavender or blue?
What keyboard did you use in the sound test?
Portico68 black label!
oh thanks
@@PrestonsThoughts
How do these compare to the tactility of the cookies And cream?
These are similar but a little lighter
Will the sound change if you lubed them?
Probably but I don't really see the need
@PrestonsThoughts I thought the same thing and they sound nice stock
Are they factory lubed?
the rails of the stem are lubed but that's about it
@@PrestonsThoughts oh ok thanks!

@@PrestonsThoughts ooohhh okay i finaly understand 😭🔥

Could these fit inside of my redragon k617?
If it fits 5-pin switches yup!

they work best in builds that are on the creamier/clackier side
🦀🦀🦀
"Money"
For real though, it sounds good I like it
These sound crunchy.
If i already have the originals, is it worth buying a new pack of the pros
Probably not unless u haven't lubed them
This or ktt waverider?

Those are sailor moon modifiers smh (jk Re:Zero cool too)
Would they be able to fit inside a 6k61
In a gk61 they should!
