I’m visiting Saigon for tet, trying to decide between this buffet and the nikko hotel one. I love seafood so I’m trying to pick between the two, any opinion or thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Nothing you can do about it?!?! How about not eat shark fin soup.🤔 that has to be in the top 5 most atrocious wasteful asinine things to eat in the world in line with fried bald eagle or bangle tiger filet mignon. Disgusting to watch how the fins are harvested and the rest of the shark is thrown back to die. I'm an avid fisherman and hunter and that just makes me sick.
To be honest, there is a good chance they didnt use any real shark fin in the soup. And thats good. Many fancy restaurants in VN make such claims but have often been found using no or even fake shark fin in their cooking.

Nikko is the best. Id spend an extra $10-$15 and go for the best. The lobsters here took a while to cook and on the smaller side.
