I bake straight from the fridge!! No need to take it out beforehand. Sometimes I even put my loaf into the freezer for 15-20 minutes before I bake it because it firms it up on the top where I’m scoring and makes it easier to score.
My sourdough bread usually lasts 5-7 days on the counter in a plastic ziplock gallon bag without any mold or discoloration. If I don’t finish the loaf I turn my leftovers into croutons :) I’m sorry but I don’t have a starter recipe, I just bought my starter from Etsy.
Hello! Regular all purpose flour is not recommended for sourdough bread because it has a lower protein content and therefore might not hold its shape as well and might fall flatter. A 1:5:5 ratio refers to the amount of flour and water you are feeding your starter. The night before I fed 20g of starter with 100g of water and 100g of flour. 20x5=100 I’ll do another video soon on starter feeding ratios and what they mean 😊
Very nice job it's done 🎉
Im just getting into bread making. Very good video. Short and to the point. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make it as easy to follow as possible 😊
Do you flour your Banneton with rice flour? Great well explained video! Thank you.
Yes I use white rice flour for dusting my baskets but I’ve also used regular flour too sometimes when I run out of the rice flour :)
@@LindyPaulino88thank you. I use the liner AND flour but hate washing the liner 😂
Nice video. I need to stop being lazy and film my whole process instead of just making shorts of the results 😅
So when you remove it from the fridge, how long do you let it sit out before scoring and baking…just the hour that your oven is preheating?? Thanks!!

Can you use regular flour? Also, what is a 5:1:1 ratio?
