Love this sort of riding. Difficult to do sometimes in the UK as the roads are so bad but love the concentration of following the wheel and big respect to the guy at the front putting the watts down.
Even though i was unfit the TDU was great fun to watch, but that wind and hills nearly broke me, i learnt that hills pay the bills lol, great vid as usual.
That sucks, seeing you guys riding in beautiful weather and me being on the trainer since basically December, ufff. Great video, Cam. Nice look into the pace line riding too. 🤗

Nice to have met you and the team Cam for that coffee on Sunday morning (aka Rick). That bunch ride is insane. I usually solo ride, Ive done a few bunch rides, but nothing like that.
I used to do train rides like this back in the 80s always felt they were too hard and not hard enough at the same time you get very efficient at them doesn’t really help improve fitness
@@CamNicholls here we can have one guy fallback or pass , so we can still do a paceline of sorts . But it pretty much has to be when the road is clear of cars coming . So not a continuous thing . There’s a lot of hate for cyclists on the road here by drivers .
Did you felt that some riders in This group were really superior to the others ? If yes , how do you recognize them ? To me the group seems really homogeneous

Cam,there is one factor that separates everything in cycling...........AGE .......im 62 and ride with 40-50 year olds i run at approx 3.0 wpk and am reasonably quick,but your up against young men there and although you can keep up with them 99% of the time when they go for it thats when age shows....o to be 25 again!

You guys are lucky you are allowed to ride side by side . Here in Canada it’s against the law to ride two abreast . You have to ride single file .
