      Sorry dude but only in Bollywood movies. Facts are since last summer the Chinese PLA have being walking into Indian territory for fun and taken over land in Ladakh, Galwan and Arunachal Pradesh. Rajnath Singh has already admitted in parliament how China has taken over 38,000, sq kilometres land in Ladakh. While many western news channels report China have also taken control off Galwan and built 100 new homes In Arunachal Pradesh. We can deny as much as we want but these are the facts. China has been aggressive while India has being defensive and at times desperate to resume dialogue as only option to solve the matter with China. Modi media can work hard day and night to cover up and fool the nation, but truth is Modi is too afraid to utter the word China let alone counter them on the battlefield.

Disengagement means, China can have what it has taken but please don’t advance and take more land - jo Rajiv Gandhi sahib bhi Bol raha hai. Pori Western media/press bhi report kar raha hai kaise China ne Ladakh, Galwan aur Arunachal Pradesh me India ki zameen pe kabza kiya hai. • @couchpundit2667
      @couchpundit2667 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Defence modernization hopefully is in action and not for show...we had ministers who had a clear cut plan of having no tenders ever...and certain parties want 100's of basic aircraft rather than having powerful fully loaded aircrafts....anyways army was scavenging for snow uniforms....what ever Division/Theater was formed did it work in this time of need? so many questions in terms of strategy is to be answered.
      I think a good nation would never say we were surprised my enemy walked into my territory, rather they should say we have foiled an attempted land grab. Till then relentless focus is required.
      Also focus should be on bhutan nepal and bangladesh.

      Fifty years ago, China's 90,000 square kilometers of inherent territory was once the place where Tibetans in China lived, and the territory was actually controlled by India. Where else does India need to cede Chinese territory? Does India want Tibet? India should read history. China hopes that the surrounding environment will be stable. India invaded and occupied 90,000 square kilometers of territory in southern Tibet of China. India invaded and occupied Sikkim. India separates Pakistan from Bangladesh. It also hopes that India can restrain itself. I think India India is very cute. I hope that the two peoples can live in peace in the future. All political parties in India will fight without affecting peace.

China today occupies area greater than Switzerland in Akshai Chin and also childishly claim Arunachal pradesh. China also occupies illegally parts of Kashmir given by Pakistan as a token of gift. Today China also occupies Hindu sacred place of Mount Kailash in Tibetan which had the history of Tibetans and Hindu living together. But I don't want war let the China give Akshai China and Kashmir to India to which it legally belongs and 3 billion people can live in peace❤️❤️❤️❤️

      @@shekhar6267 India has been occupied by Britain for hundreds of years. British troops invaded and occupied Chinese territory. What is the relationship between Tibetans and Indians? Because this mountain is so long, Tibetans are not Indians at all, and their appearance can be distinguished, let alone the massacre of the Chinese. Is there evidence? The British massacred millions of India, this is the evidence. You said that is where Tibetans live. This has nothing to do with your India. The history of Tibet is Chinese territory. For one hundred years, India has been a British colony. It has nothing to do with Tibet. The British occupation of Tibet has nothing to do with India. India wants to inherit the British invasion, but forgets that India also suffered from the British invasion. For decades, southern Tibet has been a plain controlled by Indian aggression. Kashmir cannot survive in the mountains. The history of Kashmir is not Indian territory at all. The territory of India is strange, the territory is full of greedy shapes.

My only concern is that by giving up occupied heights of the Kailash Range, India might have given up its only bargaining chip vis a vis Depsang, which is the real threat. However let’s give Modi a break after all a poorly equipped India military don’t have the technology nor capacity to match China so besides surrender does not have much options or else China will advance and take over Saichen and who knows Srinagar.

    Excellent discussion Nitin and thanks Col Dinny! About loss of territory by India and 1959 Chinese claim line- the point is- if we treat our 1954 official map of India as sacrosanct, then Chinese have occupied entire Aksai Chin and a large part of Ladakh after 1962 and a some more till 2014. After 2014, there is no "loss" (actually ingression). So have we "lost" that territory which we claimed as ours or are we talking of loss of territory compared to what we are having it under our effective control? Patrolling rights ( within our own official map territory!!) is not a big deal. So our people need clarity on this irrespective of any narrative or political biases. Amit Shah and Rajnath have categorically stated that we want to take back our territory as per our 1954 map. So the position now is- we are ready and capable of holding and pushing Chinese but we have a lot of work to do to get back territory as per our 1954 map. As a further twist, it is another matter whether British India ( and Independent India) indeed have historical clams over Aksai Chin etc. And hence, we need a package solution originally talked about by Deng to settle Ladakh along with Arunachal Pradesh borders and agree on a Modi-Xi line instead of McMohan line!
    But we ought to thank Xi for this misadventure as - 1. Indian Armed forces have been finally given free hand by GOI to deal with China (and Pakistan). 2. Defense atmanirbharita will be a serious business now and within next 5 to 10 years, we should have a huge domestic defense industry. 3. We are rightly hyphenated now with our Enemy No 1 and Pak is relegated to its level of importance 4. Chinese enjoying huge trade surplus will be a thing of past soon.
    With this, we have buried the ghosts of 1962 finally. I was hardly 5 years old when 1962 happened but I still have memories of sadness of so many of our soldiers dying and our total defeat at the hands of the Chinese. Our generation will thank Modi for this, as we blamed rightly Nehru for our defeat then. Of course, our Army in 1962 was as good as it is today! Jai Hind!!

      A bit too late for that now. China are donkey years ahead of India when it comes down to both development of infrastructure including technology installation in Ladakh etc. The reason why China has been walking into and securing Indian held territory since last summer for fun. Pakistan has also provided crucial human intelligence to China about the region. While Rajnath Singh has already admitted in parliament that China has taken over 38,000 sq kilometres land in Ladakh. While well known western news channels also report China has taken control of Galwan Valley including land in Arunachal Pradesh where it has even built 100 new homes. Like I said a bit too late for hat now, even Indian government and armed forces acknowledge it. What is the disengagement? Lol is just a face saver. Indeed the stand off continues. As usual Modi media is reporting absolute bollox. Facts are what Rajiv Ghandi said, Modi has surrendered Kailash Heights and Pangong fingers to Chinese control with out a fight. While last summer Rajnath Singh has already admitted in front of parliament how China has taken over 38,000 sq kilometres land in Ladakh. While most Western news channels are also reporting China has taken over land in Arunachal Pradesh building 100 new homes. In the coming days and months China will now press ahead for Saichen Glazier, while as usual Modi will refrain from using the word “China” fearing the dragon while Modi media will keep reporting utter bullshit.

One day when BJP is replaced by lets say Congress party, all the reality and damage caused by Modi will come clear to your eyes.

    I will tell you what China has gained: we cannot patrol now, beyond Finger 3, cannot have any structures north or south of Pangong Tso, and lost Spanggur Tso (the smaller lake that you conveniently forget). They say "temporary" but will make it permanent. Don't forget: they wanted a 20 km buffer zone for a long time, they got 10 km now. They made us talk 9 rounds, even though they killed our soldiers brutally using iron clubs, and we never were able to retaliate (even though we did, we have been forced to give back the heights). Also, BIG distraction game is this: they are forcing us to keep talking of these 10-20 km, so we would _never even think_ of going to Haji Langar and cutting them off saying "ok, nice road you built, it's our land, just pay a toll and we will let you use it!".... We must all read Sun Tzu: "When using our forces, we must seem unable; when we are near we must make the enemy believe we are far away!"

  • @helpingempowerwomen

    I am concerned that this buffer zone may develop a permanency. The 1.5 km buffer zone in Galwan shows no sign of continuing to stay temporary. Why do I get the feeling that this is a familiar trick from the Chinese playbook of strategic subterfuge? They wanted this buffer zone. They got it. From past precedent the Chinese have gone back on agreements and taken the "buffer zone"
    If this new buffer zone is allowed to stay longer are we not acceding to the 1959 Claim Line?

    If finger 4 to 8 is a buffer area, India has factually lost some of its territory, not to the chinese but to the buffer area being made on the indian side of LAC. So HS Panag does have a valid point.

    • @jayantochatterjee6413
      @jayantochatterjee6413 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well if HS Panag says India lost territory between Finger 4 and Finger 8 then he should know because he was Corps Commander when the Chinese walked in and built a mettalled Road upto Foxhole point in 2004 at Finger 4 during Panags watch..Hence if territory was lost it was lost between 1999 to 2009 and Gen Panag is hugely responsible..As Col Dinny here and Abhijhit Iyer Mitra have pointed out Indian army foot patrol couldn't go beyond finger 5 because the chinese would come in and stop the Indian troops..Todays development means the Chinese have agreed not to come in west of Sirijap and cross Indias perception of the LAC..That's a big positive..And India retains its claim upto finger 8
