My father served in 13th kumaon in alfa company , also was in Kargil war also served in Ethiopia as UN peace corps . Retired in 2007. He used to tell me this story of veer ahirs .

Major, I am a product of Sanik School Kunjpura (Haryana) . I knew about the battle of Rezangla in grade 6 . Today after listening it again from you , I narrated the story of Rezangla to both of my sons who are born in Canada and are living in Canada with me, I had a big lump developed in my throat while narrating this story to my boys (17 years old and 13 years old).It was so hard to bring out the words from my mouth, and both the boys had tears rolling down on there cheeks. As they have never seen me crying before, I wasn’t sure if they are crying because of the story or because of me…. But then one of my son asked me “ Dad we are from HARYANA too. And then I knew why are the the tears rolling down from their eyes…
You must be a proud dad and a proud Indian just like sons. You did the right thing sharing this story. I was born and bred in Mauritius ( my ancestors were brought to Mauritius as indenture labourers by the British colonial regime) and i now now live in London. I cried too . I am.proud to say my soul is so closely connected with Bharat Maa , that NRI indians here are shocked. I have more knowledge of what is happening in India than rhem. The whole point is that , let not your 2 sons to be disconnected from India. If the need be to give my life for india , i will happily do so. This is the jazbaa each and every proud indian should have. Jai Hind, vaande maataram 🇮🇳

I am from Rewari and a proudful "Ahir" (Yadav). I grew up listening to the valour of my ancestors in Rezangla as lullaby. Luckily, I have heard this fascinating war story from Retired Honorary Capt. Sh. Ram Chander Yadav, one of the Rezangla war survivors.
An indefinite & peaceful protest has been held in Gurugram since a long time regarding formation of "Ahir Regiment" in the Army.

I have seen documentary on this. I proud of my Hind Ki Sena. I salute a lot those Veer Sainik. When i hear & see bravery, sacrifice, unselfishness love to Bharat Mata of my Indian Army, tears come from my eyes. I have a suggestion sir, our local police should salute, if any retired Fauji dies.🙏🏳🌈
