Kinda sad, Cliff. Maybe, the gray devil might have reformed with a little more time and influence from the girl and her family. Great story and setting. A perfect tale as we approach Autumn and Halloween!
In high school, many years ago, my history teacher had a way of bringing history alive for us. Even the kids who hated history, loved him. You have done just that. Well done. Thank you.
It's always great to see Charles Addams III getting mentioned! I grew up reading his books (I'm from Berks County too) and I'll never forget the time he came to my elementary school and shared stories from his book Ghost Stories of Berks County part 3.
Thank you for the tale Cliff . These short tales of long ago make me think alot about what happened . Being on site when telling it , adds some " what if " and " I wonder "to my imagination .
I thought this was going to be a nice wholesome haunted PA tale, but then CREEPY COKE BABY!!! Couldn't have timed a better scare on purpose! Find any clowns?!?
For those watching this, Charles Adams the 3rd is Berks County's ghost story and legend keeper/teller and very well known here in Berks and surrounding counties.. Thanks Cliff for some history and viue of the homes of the past. I find it hard to believe the ring on the gypsy girls finger was recognized by the son of the real owner. More plausible, the "POOR" gypsy girl was showing off such an expensive bauble in the home and questioned about it. The authorities put 2 and 2 together, told the girl to help them or jail. As for the spooky horse and ghost rider, thay make for great stories but they just do not exist. The doll and Coke can, the doll is creepy but the everyday Coke can is not, would have been better if the stager used a candle or toy shrunken head.😈💀☠ Great stuff Cliff.
❤❤❤ haunted places. Im gonna have to find that book. I"d love to visit that village. Great video as always BUT...dont knock the coke baby! Cokes my favorite pop. She has good taste. 😊😊😊
Did you ever hear the story of Susanna Cox? I believe her death was by hanging somewhere in the Oley Valley and if I am not mistaken I think the area nearby is supposedly haunted by her. You migh also want to check out the legend of mountain Mary also from the Oley area.
The Coca-Cola Creepy Doll rocks!

Never knew this story. I'll have to check it out. I'm in Summit Hill.
Fun story; interesting. Never heard that story. On the other hand, that coke baby really creeped me out! 😖
Lady in white or 'White Lady' near Wopsy mountain outside of Altoona would be interesting 👍🏻

Moral of the story is if your girlfriend shows up with bare ankles and no bonnet...something is up.
