Tyler Herro has slumped this season but now he’s being called out by reporters who cover the team. An accusation says the Miami Heat are concerned about Herro and that other players resent him for becoming a celebrity off the court. The second year player has definitely taken advantage of his recent fame but it is turning against him. The Heat should have traded Herro for Harden but this video explains how long they will pay for that mistake.

I like that. But honestly, that's not even an insult to me. These dudes are solid ball players. They aren't superstars but ud rather them be on your team than not. Kuzma does what's asked and fit with lbj unlike the other kids, Ingram, ball, hart. Meanwhile those guys won't make playoffs.
Hero is on a solid team...but thats all. It's solid and it over achieved. To think they were coming back to me was unreasonable. Then know philly Brooklyn and the bucks even are better.

Jimmy, Spo, Pat, UD, Zo. He won’t be in Miami and certainly won’t be rewarded with rotation minutes. They loved Winslow, had him playing entire 4th quarters, has him pegged as the next leader on the team and look how quickly he was gone.
Also, Pat the organisation was saying these positive things about Herro long before his playoff performance.

    • @mvpsportscenter6172

Then as a heat fan you should think Herro had 60 days off between this season & his rookie missed games this year & was used as a PG early in the season out of position. He's not Lebron you have to expect a young player like him to take a step back in a shortened offseason Tatum took a step back everyone takes a step back. Herro had covid last year & was injured with wrist , ankle & shoulder or whatever that he missed games.

Even Duncan Robinson has not been the same. And Bam A. has not felled off the clip. But he has not been has dominated either. That Bubble helped a lot of the younger players. What I dont like about the entire Herro dynamic is the "Miami will regret not trading Herro for Harden" narrative. First of all, Harden for Herro was never an option to begin with. Miami would have lost much more than Herro. Harden hasnt proofen to be himself in the playoffs either, it isnt a guarantee he would help them in the postseason. In addition to that, stars have a voice when it comes to trades, therefore I anticipate Jimmy wanted to keep Herro around. Trading him mightve resulted in a frustrated Butler. Harden also shows of a lifestyle that barely fits the Heat culture (granted, Herro does the same rn).
Looking at all those things, Miami did (in my opinion) make the right choice, even from todays standpoint. That comment might age terribly if Harden goes off in the playoffs tho.

Do not get me wrong, I think Oladipo is a good fit on the team, however, he wasnt able to play. In addition to losing arguably their second best big in Olynyk for basicly nothing, Leonard injured himself and had that ... incident that forced the heat to trade him. What they ended up with was a team that wasnt healthy, had internal issues, a small rotation and an opponent that wasnt allowed to lose. I expect the Heat to get better next season, maybe add an additional big, and again try to contend for the title.

I once listened to what Dame sai about a lot of young guys in the league these days on JJ Redick’s podcast. He said they don’t love the game as much and they play the game more for like what comes with it first but not the passion. Herro should be the perfect example. The other young guys( Book, Tatum, Morant,..) are as good as they are now yes because they are talented, but for sure they must love the game and put in the hard-work.
Even an established superstar like Lillard said he still watches basketball games everyday to learn from it. I’m not sure you can do that if you are on Instagram or vacation all the time.
