After extensive research, I purchased ronin a couple of months back and have already driven 2000+ km. I upgraded from r15, so the comfort this bike provides is amazing. The engine is very smooth, so is the shifting. The parts are of superior quality and the suspension is also amazing. Getting approximately 40 kmpl and I am very happy with the machine.
I had booked a Hunter 350, but when I had taken the test ride of TVS Ronin then I changed my mind and bought TVS Ronin. And it hasn't disappointed me till now.
@@vamshibhat I would say please go for a test ride and experience it yourself. In brief, it depends on what kind of rider you are. If you are a mature rider then it's good for you. If you are a young boy then it might less excit you because power delivery is flat. It is milti purpose bike, good for daily commute and good for touring as well because sitting posture is so relaxing. I ride it 200 kms continuous and didn't feel tired. It looks premium as well.
Ronin is much better all-rounder than Hunter. Loving the exhaust sound, pick up and smoothness of the engine so far. It is really good for city ride and very comfortable for long ride as well. Even mileage is good, I'm easily getting 40+ even before 1st service. Also the road presence is really good. Every day 4-5 people inquire about it. It is a head turner for sure🔥

Ronin seems to be a great product and definitely more VFM than Hunter. But Hunter and Standard 350 are the only two bikes under 2 lakh with long stroke engines. Another advantage Hunter has are the sales numbers. In my town specially, I have seen more Hunters and hardly one or two Ronins. I am not saying that follow a “bhedh chaal” and it’s not just about the resale value but higher sales numbers help the vehicle owner to have better service experience in the long run. When a bike sells in good numbers, spare parts availability becomes less of an issue. I have experienced it personally as I own CB Twister since 2013 and that bike got discontinued soon after my purchase. From last few years I am having trouble finding basic spare parts like break cable and air filter. And mind you!! My bike comes from a well known “so-called” reliable/reputed brand like Honda. I learned this lesson a hard way but be it car or bike, please consider this every time before making an automobile purchase. It becomes even more relevant if you come from a tier 2/tier 3 city. You will have better service experience in last few years of your ownership with a vehicle that you see in good numbers. No reviewer will ever tell you that.
Everyone talks about comparisons before buying the bike But no one considers after sale service. Servicing cost of Hunter is way more than ronin(atleast 2 times). Choose wisely!! Don't just fall into the trap of Brand *RE* .
I own the Hunter and I don’t regret my purchase but I rode the Ronin today and damn the engine is butter smooth, the exhaust node is also better sounding especially during rev matching, the clutch is very light and it’s really comfortable and lightweight. Ronin won’t dissapoint if you don’t mind its looks. Go for Hunter if you want a better resale value and road presence. Go for Ronin if you want a more easier and fun to ride bike.

Sir, no doubt ronin is good. Just the problem is TVS after sale service centres. They are very very bad. I am using apache from 6 yrs.., now i am planning to upgrade. I am seeing ronin, hunter and w175.
One interesting thing about ronin is when you wear a helmet and ride ronin, The exhaust sound literally kills man (a bassy sound with proper motorcycling character)❤ like it literally makes a good sound over the ears and its very pleasing only ronins owners will understand what i said. I had ride my friend's ronin and its offer way best riding quality than many bikes in the market. Only one complain i have is the smaller seat size for the pillion it must be longer for better pillion support. Overall its damn best bike i had ridden yet, That is why i saving every month ❤so that one day i could own this masterpiece product by TVS ❤

Good review, RE hunter sales figures is due to the brand value, people’s mindset just go for it as first time RE owner. Hunter has long stroke enginer better suited for highways. Ronin is king on city roads and traffic. Ronin is more reliable and has advanced technology, Hunter has heating issues. Ronin is value for Money where as Hunter brand and fanboy following of RE. Build quality and fit/finish is not good in Hunter. Ronin’s awesome in both departments. On highway Ronin is not a great bike but you can cruise at 80-90 kmph and is very stable.

I did a test ride of both the bikes. No doubt both are good, one has more torque and other has more features, but jo feel hunter 350 ko chala ke aayi vo ronin m nhi aayi. Jo thump hunter ka tha vo ronin m missing hai. Jis rawness k saath hunter pickup leti hai, ronin nhi le paati, and GTT toh hunter 350 m phle se hi hai par usko as a feature present nhi kiya hai re ne. So riding ka feel toh hunter 350 p hi aaya.

Ronin fuel consumption is outstanding and can take you to distances . Hunter has nonadvantage over other 350 cc RE products.

My friend told the mileage is very low, suspension is bad not like classis or meteor. I have a Meteor but after riding the Hunter my back pains. Hunter design is very bad. Tell the truth Yaar!!
Look of hunter is good, the name Royal Enfield, and the engine 350 cc are big pros. You should compare the top varient.
350 cc doesn't matter because power is same, and Ronin is lighter. So power to displacement ratio more in Ronin. Do you understand this?

Bhai. Honda sp125 lena chahiye ya fir Honda shine 125cc. Lena chahiye ?? Aur disc brake lu ya drum break. Mera requirements ek aacha mileage wala bike hai. Under 1Lakh budget. Dusra bhi koi suggestion hoga toh please batao, With less maintenance !

I did a test ride of both the bikes. No doubt both are good, one has more torque and other has more features, but jo feel hunter 350 ko chala ke aayi vo ronin m nhi aayi. Jo thump hunter ka tha vo ronin m missing hai. Jis rawness k saath hunter pickup leti hai, ronin nhi le paati, and GTT toh hunter 350 m phle se hi hai par usko as a feature present nhi kiya hai re ne. So riding ka feel toh hunter 350 p hi aaya.

RE is not indian.. ptanhi logon ko kya spne ata hain? RE ko eicher group ka hain jo ki volvo ka subsidry brand hain.. logon ko kis angle se RE indian brand lgta hain.

Ronin is the biggest missed opportunity of the year due to its looks. If this bike looked like tvs radeon with round headlights and shocks and wheel setup of ronin it would have been the biggest hit
