- Namaste, Watch this video to know about the all-new TVS Ronin motorcycle. It is a brand new Bike from TVS with a 225 cc Engine that delivers 20.1 bhp and 19.93 nm. With a 5 Speed gearbox and slipper clutch, all this power goes to the rear wheel via a chain. Motorbike also gets a smart connect instrument console that has connected features including turn-by-turn navigation. TVS Ronin will be available at a price of Rs 1.49 Lakh Ex-Showroom for the base version and the top end will cost Rs 1.70 Lakh Ex-Showroom.

Got this bike a month ago. Base variant, on road price is 1.83 lac in Pune. Getting a mileage of around 35-36 kmpl. Extremely comfortable ride, Zero complaints. No heating, no issues whatsoever

Man I'm literally a car guy but this bike is fabulous, I've seen people being mad for pulsars and r15s but none of those spots bike had ever driven me but this bike had made me to look over bike community

He want to buy, initially he wanted to buy FZS V3 2yr back now V4, later heard, knew issues in FZS v4 so he thought to buy Apache, later he knew about TVS Ronin, research about it, came to know Ronin is good choice, but prices became 2 lakh all... Comapare to Foreign brand Yamaha FZS, X, Honda Hornet, Bajaj Pulsar, even apache.. It not look so costly than these models

Kudos to tvs. Slipper clutch, adjustable lever, led lighting, beautiful retro styling, good fit and finish. Too vfm. Good job
The best part of this bike is the maximum torque of 19.93Nm at 3750rpm. At such a low rpm will the get entire torque so need to rev at higher speed similar to royal Enfield. Many reviewers are missing this part.
TVS is catching up in the game lately. Keep it up TVS👍. And as always very good review by Gagan Chaudhary. I hope this bike will surely bite some figures from pie cake for TVS in terms of sales and market share.

Main Tungnath Mahadev le gaya tha. 12000 feet above sea level. Climbing very fast in mountains. I think it's first bike to reach higher altitude Tungnath Mahadev ji. Bahut accha laga. Bike no doubt superb ☺️

All Hero needs to do is to add dual channel ABS to X Pulse 200T and they will also be in contention. Its a pretty underrated and almost forgotten bike for no reason other than Hero's lack of effort in marketing.

I think if Bajaj comes up with their own cruiser with 250cc engine present in current gen pulsar, power will be on point they just needs features. One thing with Bajaj is they think only power will make their product cut through competition but that customer space is very niche.

@@Sarthak1710 Avenger is a good motorcycle but it doesn't appeal so many people, Bajaj did update it but there's a difference between constant updation and doing it once in a few years, as for the brand itself I think Bajaj puts a lot of research and development in the initial phase itself of a launch of new motorcycle. NS 200 though people may have different opinions I think the only update it needed was ABS and FI and that bike still is best in its class with the only bike having a perimeter frame. Dominar I think is the best bike Indian market can offer at this time, no doubt. New gen pulsars also dominate the segment. Bajaj only does one thing that is cramming as much power as they can in a price segment ( i am a fan of that) ( though new gen pulsars should have a four valve engine).

Wow... Bro.. My bro.. I want to buy this Ronin.. Initially he & mee wanted to buy FZX, S v3 from 2yrs back, now came to knew about many multiple issues, complains in FZ-X, FZS v4 especially , so thought to take TVS Apache, he saw Ronin, research about features,, choose to buy..

@Karthik Yeah buddy I agree to your point. But here we have tested the same mill, a bored Apache RTR 200 4V showed signs of oil seal leakage on using 10w40. So I just suggested that 15w50 might be suitable to get out a beautiful average and a nice cruising experience

The gixxer 250 is such an underrated bike, but is better than Ronin in EVERY regard; be it power, torque, confort, cooling, mileage or refinement. It also comes with touring accessories.
Agree, but more relax comfort, official top rack, 14 lts vs 12ltrs plus a metal tank, for touring, ronin looks much better. Also, mileage will be better in ronin but not a big difference. For city, obvio gixxer is a no brainer but touring will be better on ronin

Bhai, I was a proud owner of a Bajaj Avenger 220 dts-i since October 2010. Have beautiful memories with it. Unfortunately, due to work compulsions and gradual disillusionment, I sold it in November 2021. Now after all this time, I am having this sudden urge to buy one more motorcycle. I waited to see a TVS cruiser, like what we saw in the concept Zeppelin, but with this motorcycle's engine capacity being similar to my earlier motorcycle, I think only the Bullet 350, Honda cb 350 , Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM adventure 390 and those Jawa, Yezdi etc are options. Sad but true; I'm simply disappointed that the engine capacity is not even 250cc.
Mujhe samajh Nehi ata display mai ek budget motorcycle me itna kuch option dal ne ka kya fayda??? Ye mode and nevigation k chakkar mai accident bar na jaye after a certain period, best one is Analog display with rpm meter🔥

Main issue is that only the top variant gets dual channel abs, BT connectivity and adjustable levers. 1.49 to 1.7 mainly for dual channel abs
Yeah unfortunate situation. Atleast medium varient should had been given dual channel abs option as well. I don't care for phone connect.

In short dual channel abs improves safety as u get abs in rear wheel also. Basically it prevents tyres locking while braking.

No one in the Indian bike market actually makes good headlights. The LED headlights on offer are no more than a joke. Indian two wheeler manufacturers make the poorest headlights. The irony is when you install auxiliary lights to be safe on the roads then the cops fine you for installing aux lights. I don’t know why but nobody in the automotive scene expresses concern over this as it is a matter of safety of the rider or people around him/her. Looking at the LED on this bike I’m highly doubtful of it being of potent use.

Bike looks nice however TVS should have used a 300 cc engine for this bike so that it could have competed with RE, Highness, Jawa's. BHP & Torque should also have been more! Currently the price will match RE Hunter and then lot of prospective customers will move to RE!!
I has RE thunderbird for 7 years. It is not reliable bike. Once you own RE, you will never buy RE again. It is 3rd quality bike sold for indians. TVS quality is far better than RE
It is 20bhp. Literally every 350 royal Enfield makes 20bhp since decades. TVS doesn't make long stroke old school engines.
Lol i checked a lil bit more, and TVS Ronin makes it's peak torque below 4000rpm, which is exactly targeted at Royal Enfield bike. It will feel the same now that royal Enfield doesn't vibrate and fall apart.

TVS should have got in more powerful engine (like RR310 engine) and they would scared the hell out of the competition. Either ways...a good bike on spec sheet though.

But if the price was around 1.40-45 (base variant) would've been the sweet spot.
I know UDS forks and LED indicators and headlight are premium features but the smartphone connectivity are overatted. We need a good performing bike at good range and NOT A SAMRT PHONE INTEGRATED MOTORCYCLE.
These unnecessary features are the reason of price Hike on wheelers.
But still good because there's no competition for this segment and price as of now

The Speedometer could have been at center with a slightly bigger one. This one is an ugly fashion, which may be acceptable to some new gens.

The original design was of a cruiser bike but TVS has changed it...even the tyres are a bit on a thinner side...
Good review.. but one place u r totally wrong pls read the hazard / emergency indication light usage while driving, it can be used while driving in few cases.
