This is just what I needed! Thank you. Johto soundtrack is less triumphal and more intimate than Kanto so I think the biggest difficulty is to find the right match between tracks but I'm sure the transition will be even smoother in the final version. Keep it up.
It's funny you say that, because in the final version tracks are organized by theme (towns, routes, battle, etc). It's really the only way I can think of keeping the tone semi consistent with this soundtrack lol
That's what I thought. The only way to keep consistency in the Johto soundtrack is to regroup the tracks "thematically" because there is more similarity.
If you use a multitude of Kontakt VST's for your content. Please some day make a video on how to set up a 64 VST set up with Processing custom settings for FL Studio. Only if you can. Thank you again for this treasure 😁♥️
For the most part, these libraries were recorded in about the same size rooms (Maida Vale Studios for BBC, Trackdown for CSS and CSB). I'm also obviously using the same reverb on everything :)

@@michaelgaffney4619 When using Cinematic Studio Strings I normally EQ all the strings as a unit. The library is pretty heavily pre-mixed and pre-processed, so I probably wouldn't EQ an individual section unless I was going for a specific special effect. :) EDIT: Although I will often apply or remove dB individually. Like I'll usually take away some gain from the cellos and give it to 1st violins with CSS.

The music gives me Black and white vibes at some points and one has a Diamond and Pearl vibe, maybe have at the begining start it a bit lower then bring the tune up, and I also think using the Black and White vibes a bit more seeing as how those games had some pretty good themes

What EQ and reverbs are you using on the strings? I'm an avid CS strings and brass user but man the tone you're getting is incredible!
The reverb is Smartelectronix Ambience (free) and the EQ is done with FL Studio Maximus, one of the presets but I don't remember exactly which one >w

You don't need the full version of Kontakt, just Kontakt Player (the free version).
