I commend you on creating this nice video! Based on one view, the ancient Rishis seeded the first human civilization in India, it is nice to see one find answers to the existential questions. Being an Indian and living in the US, the video made me nostalgic on my growing up years in India, the ancient everlasting wisdom there and the humility of the folks in India and their compassionate welcoming nature. Namaste!

Spirituality doesn't look interesting but it touches you when you knock the door of wisdom , with out fear, without pain, without hesitation off course. Spirituality doesn't give you a instant solution but it tells you how to free yourself from pain or suffering . It's not a religion, it's the way of life for those who adopt it.To adopt spiritualitism we have to believe ourself where many of us fails.

First of all - great and hats off for your efforts in trying to understand the other side of yours world! :-)
Just like to bring some facts which is not true as been shared by others with you or over internet, it varies.
    1) the word Hinduism or religion never existed till British named so to call the ones other than Christians or Muslims. There were two major schools of worship- Sivam ( one who prays Shiva ) and vainavam ( one who prays Vishnu)
    2) before sivam and vainavam it was samanam and asivagam in this region
    3) sivam and vainavam came into existence with lot of forceful practice by killing many lives like Saints who were practicing samanam and asivagam - even today you can see the traces of samana padhugai ( place where saints of Samanam stayed ) near Karaikudi, Tamilnadu.
    4) yoga was part of samana saints of south India and spread over to other parts of the world.
    5) Ayurveda is also part of these samana saints, who are basically a Tamil ethnicity.
    6) you should also need to know how India was formulated or became a country. India comprises of different ethnicity and races into one country. So where by it has many unique cultures and ethnicities.
So yoga, Ayurveda, samanam are all belongs to Tamil ethnicity and since it is part of India it is claimed as Indian's pride but where as until before independence it is called and named with reference to Tamil saints.
This is something like what goes between Native Americans and Europeans in America.
If you are interested to know more please let me know and glad to share the true history rather than the corporate history! :-)

The consciousness in me is same in everything even in the blade of grass .
There is no duality but singularity .
This is the reality of the world .
Rumi said , you and i are the same ,
He said there is nothing that is not me , be silent .
From distance you see my light , come closer and know that i am you .
Same was said by sikh gurus , same by kabir , same by ramana maharashi , same by ramkrishna parmahansa ...
The writer of this comment and seer of this comment is in reality the same , except there is a different body which causes the grand illusion ( MAYA ) , even maya is also him . Just like waves in the ocean ..

Someone in comment section says that you can't find knowledge from them they're just beggars.
I want to say that They're not just a beggars they're sadhus they don't earn anything they beg for food this is the first thing that any sadhu do this after getting sanyas. This is the process of losing ego. the very first thing that someone needs when they search for real knowledge they first have to leave their ego of I'm something. This is the thing that even a child in India know it.
Learn something before you comment anything on our sadhus. They're knowledge seekers just like anyone come to them for knowledge. They leave their home and family for it. That's why they beg. They'll hold the higher knowledge.

One suggestion for all the foreigners who consider every yogi/guru looking person to be a real one:
Don't consider everyone to be spiritual, wise and real they ain't sadhguru or Vivekananda, few people simply are doing this to earn their livelihood. The person at the the 8:40 seems someone making fool of indians and foreigners.
And to indians fellows: Don't take it as anything negative, I am simply saving foreigners to gain wrong knowledge via these people. Should go to authentic people and authentic yogi.

Benjamin, I love to watch all your videos. Your visits to different places are very informative.
Serious question: Why is it ,that whenever foreigners come to india, they have to go Straight to the Slums?
(I'm not being disrespectful, or taunting, I Genuinely Want to know) is it to experience poverty? Are they doing it for likes? Are they trying to show they have Grit?
    I Sincerely need to know.
    I hope you answer.
[Not looking for a fight here guys]

Hi Salonika, welcome and thanks for sharing! I have heard that foreigners going to slums and sharing is annoying and I can understand how that might be. I can only speak for myself but it is so different in the slums that I am curious to see how it works. Best to you :)

@@salonika101 I can only speak for myself and I haven't seen the slums yet, but I know that when I was reading the novel, Shantaram, the descriptions about the main character's life in the slums was some of the most interesting to me. I'm actually not quite sure why. I would guess it's because it is so different from my life, it's hard to imagine it happening in the world.

Bro you are reading about india through outsiders eyes and their perspective it didn't start 5000 years ago there was full fledged civilization 5000 years as proven by archeological expert you yourself tell me if the civilization is marked at 5000 years back with so marvelous city planing with features like drainage system smart water management and architecturally planned out city emerged out of no where 5000 years ago doesn't make sense 🤷🏻‍♂️

All the "spiritual guru" lookalikes in your videos are actually beggars donning their begging costumes. You will never find anything from these folks...check your wallet before you leave them! If you are using them for representation, at least find someone who is properly dressed!

They're not just a beggars they're sadhus they don't earn anything they beg for food and this is the first thing that any sadhu do after taking sanyas. this is the process of losing ego the very first thing that someone needs when they search for real knowledge they first have to leave their ego of I'm something. This is the thing that even a child in India know it.
Learn something before you comment anything on our sadhus. They're knowledge seekers just like anyone come to them for knowledge. They leave their home and family for it. That's why they beg. They'll hold the higher knowledge.
What you say in your comment is very disrespectful for our saadhus they'll are "pujniy" for us.
