Liz Cambage quit the LA Sparks because of Chennedy Carter -see what in her last game vs the ACES

  • Liz Cambage quit the ACES. Some have speculated it was team chemistry issues related to her fight with the Nigerian national team. However, it was due the point guards not giving her the ball and not being able to shoot. See what happened.

Accountability and reliability is something Liz has has struggled with since she’s been in the league and it shows. She has trouble with showing humbleness and diligence off and on the court. I’m not gonna sit here and say it’s all of her fault but she does need to take accountability for herself instead of running team to team creating more problems because she simply can’t fix hers.

@@back2sports spot off. This is one of several reasons why womens ball (despite it being beautiful imo) gets a bad wrap. Can you imagine shaq or a prime Dwight Howard running up and down the court, having defenders pinned, and getting the ball at the MOST inopportune time? Passes to their shins? Playing with guards who can’t space the floor and shoot below 15% from three? And you want to blame the best player for being pissed? Chennedy plays like Westbrook at times. She doesn’t play much because she’s terrible. Facts. The Sparks point guards are a hot mess. I can’t stand Liz, but she has 100% rights to be pissed at the point guards, Canada and Carter. Both are horrendous. Anyways, this is the end of Liz’s career in the WNBA anyways. She’ll never be signed to another team because her reputation is beyond repairable at this point. She’s probably the best pure center ever to play the game, certainly the best center to ever play in the WNBA but her attitude and her conditioning issues really held her back. If she had a better attitude and could actually get along with her teammates, and did more cardio in the gym, there would literally be NO ONE that could stop her. It’s a shame, because she really is the best post player (center) to ever play the game.

Liz Cambage has been a very toxic person since she has been in the league. She had issues with the Tulsa Shock, Las Vegas Aces, and now the LA Sparks. She is very moody, cries, and complains a lot. This season she has not given maximum effort to the Sparks organization. From the very first game against the Chicago Sky, Liz Cambage played lazy and with no effort; which has been going on this entire season. She is one of the tallest players in the league and can't dominate, and cries to the refs every time someone breathes on her. When they throw to her on the post, she can't see the floor. She does not know where the double and triple teams are coming from so that she can make the appropriate pass. She gets it, puts her head down, and just goes; which is why she turns the ball over, gets stripped and tied up a lot. Liz Cambage is toxic to any organization.

Liz is a great player but a big baby. She needs to learn to control her emotions better and understand that different players come with different strengths and weaknesses. As the W continues to grow more players will be traded, cut, and so on so the chemistry may not be there just yet. The aces are just a really good team. Anyone going against the aces will be a little frustrated. However, she just needs to chill tf out. I bet Te’a Cooper would give a LOT to come back to the sparks since liz left. Te’a is a better PG then Chennedy in my opinion if they have her at the 1 even tho she’s more of a 2. Trade Chennedy for Te’a. That’s my take.

She has a point on that first foul. That was a foul on the player who was first guarding the shooter.
    But not Cambage.
All the other clips is a combination of bad play all around, including Cambage. The "gimme the ball!!" clip she's right, that should've been a quick pass in because despite the help defender waiting, Cambage has a seal for an easy bucket as long as she doesn't bring the ball down once getting it. But since the ball goes to the corner, that player just loses her dribble. I can't even give her the benefit of accidentally dribbling off her foot.
(rewatched it and paused it. Cambage has her pinned at the charge line while *everybody else* is above the free throw line. It's worse than I thought)
The other clips are bad spacing by the guard by dribbling inside and not doing anything, clogging things up. Or when Cambage does get the ball, she's slow with her decisions and holds it too long. Then she gets four players around her. How are you going to have four players collapse on the post and not be able to kick it out?
I'll add in fault to Derek Fisher for only having all the other players stand out by the 3 point line. Even if that other player you mentioned can't shoot, her defender comes all the way around down the baseline to the other side of the court to help on D. Even if she does air ball 3s, she can at least get closer when she gets left alone like that and hit a short bank shot.
Cambage is saying why go thru this when I can do onlyfans and make more money.

Knowing that liz is kind of a "hot head" they put her in a mis match situation on purpose so the sparks would attempt to get her the ball and as soon as Liz receives Possession they swarm her and force a turnover. To me thats just good basketball. Michael Jordan Said it himself . . . 80% of the game is mental, if youre not strong mentally it will show in game. what Liz shouldve done was kept it cool and kept a positive mindset and tried to figure out a way around the situation. She was highly pissed. After that comment was made dont think the Aces took to well to that stayement. I am sure Becky Hammon had something to do with her being traded this season. Remember when she thought she was going to be the first pic and was the 2nd pic to Tulsa/Dallas. Fred Williamson developed a relationship with her when Tulsa moved to Dallas and he was the coach. She was out of the league for 3 years by choice an mental issues.. Fred is the only coach that tried to work with her attitude. I think thst she wanted to go to LA because of Fred Williamson but apparently this did not work out. Enough said lol. @@sharongibson5215 really?! Having played sports on 5he college level your comments show exactly what is wrong with people who.preferr other players over ones that are clearly more talented yet they are not catering to them.like they do others. Let's give you a clear example. Yes the Lakers with Shaq being the center of attention won big time right. But kobe was getting g shafted used as if he was only winning because of Shaq. As soon as Shaq was discarded and he got the organization to.play to.his strengths what did we see?! Another example Jordan wasn't on the bulls due to injury retirement etc, pippin lied the team to their best seasonal record. What you call attitude is just a excuse to put in a player and run a team without utilizing the chemistry of that team being around a great play like Liz is. Another example the green bay packers their history is always showing Bret farve and arrow Rodgers but neither one has ever won a super bowl without another over the top player or players in farves case Desmond Howard a d Reggie white. In Rodgers case Charles Woodson . You see unless you understand how it feels to be in the shoes of someone who has proven their talent in practice and your getting shafted due to politics you just don't get it. You think shut your mouth and just dribble is gonna work huh..yeah ok. Listen Kurt Warner was cut and got lucky and someone gave him a chance he became a superbowl champion. Randy moss cut by 17 NFL teams. This crap in sports is just like politics it gives organizations to much power to try to.demean players based on favoritism not talent or what's best for the team. If Liz Cambridge was in the NBA and her coach wasn't a former NBA all star and even if he was their is a extremely high probability that he wouldn't be making as much as the last player on the bench
And bill lamber wasn't a scorer he was considered a dirty player and believe.me the pistons could have won championships without him. Shut up you say. Look at the coach for the world championship Tampa Bay bucs. He fired Antonio brown where us he now?! You see Liz wants to be the best has shown arguably she has the potential to be the best but the league is suffering you understand do their trying to get a player to spark it and it's just not gonna be Becky ok. I cam gaureentee you this Liz of given a chance has the looks to.get paid as a model.. she will.be just fine if that happens and she will get a chance. Who should shut t f up is people who think their preferred player should get a chance to play over other talented players who are better. So would you put your money on a one on one Liz verses Becky on.becky. lol I think not. I personally think that Liz greatest draw is her stunningly good looks. I see the same player that played at Texas A&M. If she’s beat poorly it’s someone else’s fault! Poor teammate

@@dumbbellbully413 disagree with you on the Texas A&M part.
She left early and the team was still eliminated in the same round of the NCAA tournament.
