Back in 1990 Quinn Buckner said the Chicago Bulls need to get it going in the next week or so boy how they aka especially Michael Jordan got it going 6 NBA TITLES in 8 years
It still feels strange seeing Oakley in a Knick uniform because he was so much a part of the Bulls in his 3 seasons with them and I remember I wasn't happy at the time when he was traded and apparently so was Jordan but I'm not sure how true that is.
R.I.P. Greg Gumbel. I love watching Bulls-Knicks games from the Mid 80's thru the 90's. Great rivalry!!
To have Mark Jackson and Rod Strickland at the same time was truly a 2 headed monster at PG crazy The Knicks had so many gritty PG’s in the 90’s
Just Wish the NBA would go back to this formula. This Was real basketball at its Prime
That reverse double-pump jam at 3:02 was classic MJ before 1st retirement

Before the famous announcer Ray Clay and NBC getting the NBA contract. Definite old school. Thanks so much for uploading.
Greg Gumbel doing a Knicks-Bulls game. Classic.
I had this game on VHS as a kid, I think I watched this game every week until HS lol😊
Haha Love this!
This was on WBBM-TV Channel 2 Greg Gumbel and Quinn Bucker on CBS Sports in 1990 [The last year of the NBA on CBS].

These commercials make me nostalgic. So many sounds I fell asleep to. Happy birthday, kiddo!

Where's Dick Stockton and Hubie Brown?
It doesn't always have to be them. In fact in their last year covering the NBA they used many more commentary teams than ever...
to answer your question, they were in Detroit doing the early Lakers Pistons game on CBS double header
