Actually you’re wrong. Btc is controlled by the mining pools. The three biggest mining pools are in chinas and they control the market. That’s why he wants to do all the mining in the US. Problem with btc is that it uses way too much energy and will not go with the green new deal the bureaucrats want to happen. Also high transaction times. Which will leave you vulnerable to quantum computer attacks. High unstable transaction fees. Btc is a speculative asset. As nothing that gives it value but people “believing” in it. I got four very relevant policies to crypto for it:
1) Upon election he will immediately remove Gary Gensler as the Chair of the SEC and replace him with a chair that appreciates the importance of the growth of the crypto sector occuring from the USA so that they aren't beaten in the tech race by competitors like China.
2) To aid in the above there will be a need for legislators to come up with transparent and effective legislation that doesn't act as red tape for innovators in the crypto space. Trump will upon election create a Bitcoin & Crypto Advisory Council for the president for this purpose.
3) Pledges to never allow the USA to have an official Central Bank Digital Coin & and that he will protect property rights and freedoms, one of which is the right to self custody of wealth.
4) A new policy would be created that the USA will no longer be able to sell the BTC it acquires through confiscations or fines. This will then form the core of a long term strategic national reserve in cryptocurrency for the country.

We as a nation have always spent more than we take in. It’s healthy to have debt to other nations as it ensures peace. Our debt number will always be higher so don’t look at the cash value because inflation adjusted is only 1trilion higher than when Trump left office. Look at the debt to GDP. We are at 122% today. In 2019 we were at 126%

If we could only spend what we took in, there would be less wars. Do you remember all the aid we gave to Saudi Arabia? What has that led to? Also, you cannot adjust debt for inflation. Debt directly causes inflation as more debt is created to pay for old debt, effectively increasing the money supply and causing inflation. This type of mathematical gymnastics would be like manipulating the factors used to calculate inflation in order make things sound better than they are. Also, you are off by one year in your debt to GDP but generally correct. It wasn't until 2020 that it hit 126%. Prior to COVID, it was steady at around 100%. Just for perspective, it takes about 300% before we can guarantee a full economic meltdown, but given the mathematical gymnastics used to calculate other economic indicators, I would not be surprised if our GDP numbers were artificially being held up. Personally, I'm preparing for another GFC. I'm investing in Bitcoin.
