Watching this video right now brings back the memories I had in Boracay. May 1st, LABORacay Day! My experience is a blast, thousands of people walking along in a fine white sand and clear water in front beach from stations 1,2&3. If u wanna swim, PUKA Beach is the topnotch, the water is crystal clear and the shoreline has a grainy white sand that's soo clean.
I went to Boracay in September and the water was crystal clear and so blue although it was rainy season already, luckily the sun was out, no algae at all but when I went back in the Summer of April it was full of algae. I don't know when is really the best time especially since the weather now is so unpredictable.
Haven't been to Boracay, but the most picturesque beach that I've been to are those in El Nido, Palawan. The trip was a challenge, too but it's all worth it.
I Love going to Boracay. We’ve been vacationing there since 1988. No major structures and mostly nipa huts for the resorts. Electricity for the whole island is upto 6pm only and Guests were provide PetroMax (Kerosene lamps). We meet incoming fishermen to buy some extra catch and cook them ourselves. Mostly foreign tourists (some Eurpoean women even sunbathe topless😂). So much simpler back then. Not so commercialized and congested like now. Still Beautiful though.✌🏼
The only thing that i find so frustrating about Boracay is the Narrow Streets going into the beach, its like they didnt follow any systemic way on building these establishments/hotels. aside from that, the beach is so beautiful, the white sand has a very nice soft texture, and the water is amazingly blue, and the night life there is loud and fun. Cant wait to be back there in God's perfect time

I visited Boracay back in 2015 and kind of disappointed because a lot of algea in the water. We went island hopping and the island we went too is so clean and the sand is so white.
Depending on the time of year you go, one side of Boracay would be better than the other side, less alge, less jellyfish. Also many decades ago, my Aunts said as teenagers visiting the island, they called Boracay Puka Beach because puka shells were everywhere on the beach. It is not there anymore. I have not been to Boracay for more than 20 years. Back then it already had a big party scene but the interior of the island was cleaner and more open, less populated - very few vehicles as well. I also saw mostly wood and bamboo houses, not cement. And back then the best way to see Boracay was to rent a motorcycle.

Before the Pacific Ocean 🌊 water 💦 can flow to other Asian countries the virgin Pacific ocean water has to touch the Philippine beaches and resorts first so they are the cleanest in the world 🌎🌍.😊
Algae growth happens during Summer even in other parts of the Philippines. It’s natural phenomenon. Sunlight is longer during summer which inhibit algae growth. Boracay is algae free during August to January. Middle of the wet season and start of the dry season.
It's the season for big waves in Boracay. I think you guys passed by our family's vacation house. Our house is right across from the elementary school. I saw that you passed by the school.. Cool.

September is one of the best times. I think June to November is great. December to March is too windy. February to June, too much algae.

My English husband first went to Boracay some 20 years ago. He only booked to stay for 1 week but left only after 16 weeks hahaha. Love Boracay!
