Tim recently got a chance to drive the 2024 Toyota Camry again and it changed his mind on the sedan. It isn't as slow as he recalled from an earlier event.
I just turned 50 and realize I´m becoming old because I am going to say something I never thought I would say about a Camry: IT IS GORGEOUS!!! It looks awesome in black!
why does the car seem too perfect to be true? its got great gas mileage, its cheap while not being a puny econobox, and it has above average hp without a Turbo ,oh and Toyota is super reliable
That's the conclusion I have come to with my new Prius Prime. It's perfect... for me. The new Camry gives me the same feeling. I don't remember having these feelings about regular automakers before. Things are definitely getting interesting. The luxury brands are no longer as appealing as they once were.
That's exactly what it is. But I think you have to go for the XSE or XLE for that comparison. Because of the acoustic window in the higher trims and features
@@tinhinnh I own a top of the line ES Ultra luxury and I don’t get ES vibes when I see this car. The front looks like the Prius I like the previous model Camry much better.

@@mervinprone there's a couple of them running around up there. Regardless though, if they did something like that, it better be AWD (with the system beefed up to support the extra power and torque).
It’s about a second slower but the problem is it just doesn’t sound very good. That V6 was so smooth and quiet and sophisticated sounding. In comparison, this one’s powered by an electrified golf kart engine.
@@mervinprone Why not look at the trend for V6 Camry sales for the past 37 years and % split between Camry models? You'll need more than one in your drive way to make up for lack of V6 sales.
If this is the new 50 MPG model, I've heard nothing but good things. Although the figures seem shrouded, from watching vids I see the Camry can go 0 past 30 MPH in 3 seconds. Tim Talks vid just said 60 to 70 acceleration is good too. These are prime safety features needed in every car. It must be because sales of EV's have come to a halt. WOW that's very good looking color both the paint and the wheels!
The back resembles the Lexus IS350 but on a budget.
Toyota needs to get rid of that massive front grill in all their design

How much torque does it have?
Love the midnight black metallic!!! Would go so well with the gorgeous red leather seats 🔥🔥🔥
Good review, but I’ll stick with my XSE V6. This all hybrid is why I bit down with the 4.75% APR to get the V6z
