I’d Recommend You Getting Spawning Mats for your ponds so that whenever the bass nest they are able to nest in the spawning mats. And Note Bass and Minnows Love Algae so as soon as you have enough algae your bass would love it! And If you’d ever put any minnows in the ponds, add more algae so they got food. Also Fact Minnows Eat Algae.
Have you ever swam or considered swimming in one of your ponds? It looks so beautiful and peaceful. I’m sure relaxing in a pond wouldn’t hurt for all your hard work
We definitely need to see more underwater videos with the new ponds! I'd love to see what they look like from when you first add vegetation to when it's completely taken over some parts.
Little crawfish: "Today's gonna be AWESOME! You never know what's right around the corn..." (SCOOP!) "Holy crap, this is it! I'm moving to a brand new swanky pond. This lil crawfish is moving up!"

I would love to see some under water videos in the new pond, hopefully it stays this clear!! Also I still love seeing the turtle videos where you make them turtle friendly foods (: Those are my favorite!!
So glad you put that crayfish in the new pond. Please continue making videos of fish and other wildlife being added to the ponds. Looking forward to seeing the mosquito fish and the turtles entering that magnificent water.
I been watching your channel for a while, have to say I love it ! Especially how you creat this new eco system in the lake! Awesome 🤤 Cant wait to see the fishes etc to move in
For small bait fish you could also add shiners or minnows. I know your are already adding mosquito fish. I love how clear your ponds are. You could also add more crayfish for the pond
I recommend adding baitfish, and I stand by that there needs to be an artificial floating island in the middle of each pond, or, at the least, a collection of brush that forms a small island.
I love these videos so much! can't wait to see how this pond ages. Also i think it's common for people to rinse plants with diluted hydrogen peroxide to kill off algae

Love watching your new pond coming into shape. I am guessing frogs will find their way there by themselves. Thought Crawdaddies did that too, but never hurts to seed a few of them. Take a year or so to get the ponds really going, I guess....
How big/small is the old pond compared to the new ones and what gonna happen to it after you moved over the fish and turtles? Also, will Edgar know about the new pond once you start feeding there instead?
The old pond was nearly 10 times bigger than these new ones. There are still hundreds of fish and turtles living in the old pond that I don’t feed. The new ponds are hundreds of miles from the old one so sadly Edgar will not be making the trip.
I cant wait to see the fish put in! And wow the water in your pond are so blue! If I ever had my own land I'd like a pond too so that way I can also feed the fish and turtles :)

I had no idea we had wild hornwort in Texas. This weekend I collected a stem plant that looks vaguely like s. repens from an isolated pond on my family's property, I still have yet to sterilize it lol, it's been sitting on my desk in a ziplock all week.
@@wayneessar7489 yea I know that. But if u put a bunch of cinder blocks together it can act like structure for the crawfish. They can grow, hide and reproduce

Hornwort is a good food source for ostrocods aka scuds aka seed shrimps. Good food in and of themselves for baby fish and small minnow type fish which make for good feeders for the gar.
