Brad Holmes wanted to build this team from the trenches out, and they've only had a couple of games with all of their starters in 2+ seasons. So I have to give so much love to Hank Fraley and all of Hank's Tanks for giving Goff and the RBs time and space to operate. Without them, people would still not be talking about the Lions other than memes saying to look out for Lions tickets in kids' Halloween buckets.
We are so lucky that first, Sewell fell to 7 and Brad Holmes took the right guy and second, Hutch falls to two. Sewell finally completed our O-line and Hutch gave us a top edge rusher that is a game wrecker. Two Pilars this team is really built off of. The only thing I will ever give Quinn credit for is Drafting Decker, Frank and Jonah.
@@Motor-City_Ben-Diesel More signs of NFL (New $%!÷ing Lions) instead of SOL: you're saying they got lucky and kept good players around Vs missed on players and talented vets left after their contract was up.
Been a Rams fan since birth, was a season ticket holder, and watched every Goff game as a Ram and Lion… McVay cut his legs out from under him that last season, it was obvious they wanted to be done with him. He’s always had incredible talent, he just needs a coach who wants him there. Watch his 2018 highlights against the Vikings and tell me he’s not a supreme talent.
Dan Campbell specifically called out the screen game a couple weeks ago, said it wasn't productive enough and that it was on him to fix it. I think he was anticipating needing it for this game and it was absolutely critical to their success.
Great job of the breakdown of the plays I really enjoyed it. This is first time I’ve seen your channel but I’ve subscribed and look forward to more content. Thank you and yes I am a lifelong Lions fan!
Ben Johnson is one of the best OCs in the league, up there with Reid and Shannahan. When Goff was with the Rams, McVay depended on his offense to set up all the plays and in Detroit they have developed Goff like McVay never did and combined with that offense I think Goff prolly should be in the MVP conversation right now or leading it. Tbh I havent seen a Lions game where i really thought Johnson had a bad game plan, even in Cambell's first year when they didn't do great I said I liked their OC because they came out with a good gameplans on offense every week and not trying to brag but I think I noticed that b4 a lot of people. I have seen games where I thought Shannahan had a bad game plan and even tho I havent seen all the Lions games I am so glad that he stayed because I wud hate the Lions to be in the Eagles boat and having to deal with losing a great OC in a year when they are finally climbing the mountain and have a chance to actually win it all.
I agree that it would be refreshing to see someone other than the same 8 teams who win all the SBs. The Vikings are nowhere close to one right now but that franchise has suffered too. How come no one seems to care about the Vikings when they have decent teams that can make a run? There's just always seems to be a better story for the national fans to gravitate towards.
I need your thoughts on Justin Pugh coming off of the couch and ending up having to play left tackle vs Von Miller and the Bills. Please and thank you.
Why would he take a job at any of the teams that would have an opening? Unless the Pats part ways with Bill, theres not a single team out there that any reasonable person would accept employment with. ( Or at least thats what Im telling myself. I dont want him gone yet. 2 more years. )
HA!!! They're built inside out. They are not going anywhere. They have all the tools to be successful in any game, against any style, and any condition. Lastly, the schedule is very favorable this year and they will be a minimum of 12-5 hosting a playoff game. Likely 14-3 #1 seed though.
This isn’t your dad’s Lions team. The reason they have imploded when they looked good in the last is because they were lacking somewhere. This team is well built in all three phases. Every game they’ve lost in the last two years were squeakers. They’ve competed in every game. They will not implode.
#LittleIggy2010 In years past they would have imploded because the front office was Incompetent and the coaches were all Clowns. The Culture has changed. These ain't your granddaddy or your uncle's Lions. Pay attention.
Well after 66 years, this is the best, most sustainable Lions team EVER!. The 🦁's were built in the trenches, which is the secret to this year's draft! Lose Monty? No worries-plug in Gibbs. The holes and synchronization that this Oline creates & moves in is just stunning. Nice vid & commentary! 🎙👍🏾👍🏾 Liked & Subbed! Oh yeah..and good 👀 to notice our WRs blockin!g! "No block- No Rock" 🤣 #313GRIT
First time view. Good vid, but the color of your “the OLine committee” logo made me think this was a Bucs channel lol. Edit to say the Lions OLine will give you all the content you need lol, not lol.

Vikes fan here & hats off to Brad, he gets it. If your 5 upfront on O & D are studs, the other 13 can be average & you will WIN.
As a Lions fan, love the film breakdown! The O-Line is elite and Goff was excellent in Tampa.

Great breakdown. Lions fan just finding you guys. Well done, subbed!
Came for Lions content. Left a subscriber. What a hidden gem of a channel. Funny stuff & great chemistry.
Always good shit, boys.
These breakdowns need to be featured on PD more often
Lions wr room montra is "No block, no rock"
Awesome job guys. Love your analytical breakdowns. Also, go Lions!!!
Stafford wasn’t the final piece as the Rams made at least two significant moves after that. OBJ & Von helped a lot.

Still waiting for guests on the show. Old Vike lineman??? Birk???
👏🏻🎯
Ben Johnson will be a HC next year

@@miked2445Ben Johnson with his nice house and car is doing very well for himself. He is still learning and Goff himself. Johnson leaves so does Goff
Congratulations Lion fans Detroit has a crew . I’m a Falcants fan I know how it feels to lose 😂😂
I had to say something else the grey beard gentleman looks like 🦁 best writer tim twentyman 😂 we definitely winning the Super Bowl
Lions will implode any game now..

I would love to see a breakdown of some USC film to see if Caleb Williams is really that good or if his O-line making him shine.
Welcome to a kneecap-less future.

The coaching staff tells the receivers “no block, no rock”. You’re not getting playmaking opportunities if you’re not blocking for your teammates
Jahmyr Gibbs and Jamoson williams will be the X factor for the Lions!!!
"Isn't he 13-2 in his last 18 starts " that's some f'd up math .
12-3 in last 15 is what they say
I live for these film reviews
I have to say, I am a die hard Vikings fan. That said, I love watching how Detroit plays football. Tough, creative, disciplined.

Goff did {8:06} what Justin Fields didn't do in that 1st play against the Vikings.
Glad to hear I’m not the only one honest about how godawful the creamsicle unis are.
I fricking love this channel, thanks for sharing your insight. Such a cool take on analysis.
The guy on the left has a Vikings channel.😂 He's got to be hating this stuff. 😂
I am going thru the internet for Lions content and this was awesome 😂
This didn't age well 😂
Try to get AQ Shipley on!
How are some of those plays not called for an illegal blocker down field!?!
That's not a penalty. A block in the back is what you're thinking and commonly happens on kick off returns
