I use 1 inch fold over elastic around the edge of the sheet - just pull it to add stretch and zig zag it one. It works great and you don’t need to iron, sew and thread elastic through a casing.

I’ll give that a try - thx for the tip! 👍🏻

@@ArtistTaraReed Oops! Had just finished with your Christmas video, and Sherrill from the Sewing Room Channel popped up next. It was about quilt borders and old panels. Hope you are well!

Hi Tara, it’s me we were talking about those tube turners. I actually found another video that showed how to so both ends close and still be able to turn it. I’ll send it to you on the other video.
But what I wanted to talk about is there was a new story not too long ago talking about the harm we are facing with those plastic bags that cereal comes in. So you may want to rethink doing that crackle toy, and you can search obviously on the Internet to find out about those cereal bags something about chemicals in the plastic leaching into our Foods.

I was just hearing about the plastic in those pre-portioned laundry and dish detergent pods too 😵‍💫

@@ArtistTaraReed seems anywhere you turn these days. It’s always something.
And my friend this is off-topic well it’s on topic with your video. My friend gave me about almost 30 yards of flannel and I wanna make those bibs. Do you think flannel on both sides will be OK
I’m already making some receiving blankets with them. I have two neighbors that are having babies.

@@dcwatashi Flannel would work but I don't think it would be as absorbent as the towels on the back.

      @@ArtistTaraReed darn. I’m on a tight budget.

@@dcwatashi I think it will still work - just not as well. People make bibs with cotton on both sides so flannel is a step up above that!

How would pinking shears work well!

I love them for curves - faster and easier than lots of little snips. But if you prefer to do individual cuts you certainly can!

I just added the links to the description but I assume you want the bib templates: Get the free templates 👉🏻 bit.ly/3LZnRyq (it opens a new window so pop-up blockers need to be off) or Buy the printer friendly pattern and templates on Etsy 👉🏻 sewwithtarareed.etsy.com/listing/1435257314/
