@@keithgoddard7400 no the way they do is is they never really transfer their money they take from one of his to another... so Piroghi has two different fake accounts there that they can think the mark doesnt know the money came from their checking account and moved into savings but the mark believes it was just theirs. when an indian accent / terrible microphone / or both, says they accidentally refunded an extra 0 and says you need to get gift cards, that's a shammy scam
Also google how to do things, read through everything, be cautious and if someone has an accent, don't trust them too much.

They got my grandma... such a bummer. We all thought she'd know better, but they caught her right after she'd installed some shit and had an issue. It just happened to match up to the bunk story they gave her.

I managed to bail my mother-in-law out of a refund scam of $8,000 just minutes ago...a lot of this is thanks to your videos. As soon as she said anydesk and target gift cards...I knew she had been gotten. They "Over-refunded" her...I feel like your channel and my knowledge of it now managed to save her bank account just in time. I'm lucky she reached to me first.

I'm still confused? Do the scammers really "over-refund" or do they just make it look like it?? Because if I don't have an extra $2700 in my account. Then I couldn't buy that amount in gift cards.
@@yrp237 It depends on the scam. If they get access to your bank then yes they can transfer money. If it's a refund scam, they alter the HTML code to make it look like they gave you too much money and ask you to go get gift cards usually and give them the codes on the gift cards.
@@yrp237 They will always check a bank account before doing a refund scam so they can see how much they can try to take from someone. That’s why they push for a computer, anydesk/ultraviewer, and a bank account. They’ll alter the HTML to make it seem like they sent too much but in reality they don’t send anything . Sometimes they’ll transfer between your accounts if you don’t have enough in your checking. For example; they’ll transfer from savings to checking, edit the HTML, trick you into thinking they overpaid you, then send you to get gift cards or wire transfer or whatever. Now you’re out x amount of money that was never transferred from them in the first place.

My mother was just scammed out of 2k dollars.(smaller amount yes, but way more prevalent) I warned her about all these scams you post here, but there is a MUCH worse scam coming out of India involving a lot more money going on and American companies are profiting. I really hope you see this message and there's a convenient way to send you the information I've gathered. It's a really big story and needs to be exposed.

I worked for a bank in Australia doing outbound calls. My boss wouldn’t hire anyone with an Indian accent because no one would talk to them and they just got heaps of abuse because of these scam calls.
